I have been hooked on Stephen King for years.I love his style of writing and have reread a lot of his work.I like him because he gives me inspiration to work on my thoughts and ideals for a book.Plus he is always good for a scare.Who do you enjoy reading?

I have lots of favorite writers. Here are some: Earl Stanley Gardner: Aside from his Perry Mason character, I love Della Street. I also love that he enumerates the characters of the novel at the start of the story. Sidney Sheldon: His characters are compelling. Michael Crichton: I feel like reading some encyclopedia excerpts while I am reading his novels (yes, i also love reading encyclopedias from time to time). His novel, "State of Fear", confirmed my belief that global warming and the other catastrophes that the world is experiencing are not the fault of mankind, these are simply part of the evolution of the universe. John Lescroart: I like that he serialized his characters and I love his protagonist, Dismas Hardy, who went from being a police officer, a lawyer, a bartender, and back to being a lawyer. I actually feels sad every time I finish his book wanting to read more. Greg Iles: I like that the genre of his novels are diverse. David Baldacci: His novels are also informative, e.g. his book "the Winner" illustrates how lotto can be rigged. He also serialized his characters. Lisa Scottoline: I love her strong women lawyer characters. J.K. Rowling: She brought back fantasy in my life. I like that she make it easy for me to imagine the fantasy world that she created.
