are you a good friend?

I am a very good friend. It takes alot for someone to be my friend anymore though because I have been wronged so many times by people who say they are my friend but then they stab me in my back.

I think I am a good friend, but sometimes I can be selfish and mean, if provoked- just sometimes. Yes, it is hard to know who your true friends are- and I am glad to have some that will really help me in times of trouble.

I'd like to think I am and even thought I found someone who felt the same about people being so shallow only to find that she has turned away from me. I think it is more to her being in an abusive relationship and that her husband convinced her I am a negative influence when all I did was to listen to her when she needed an ear.. So, yeah, I do think I am a good friend, because even though she no longer talks to me, I still won't betray her trust with all the things she told me and I will be here for her if she ever needs me.

You can't judge a person to be your good friend not soon. You always come to know about that when you are in a problem. That is only the time when you come to know which friend helped you and which runs away. So judgement is not so easier as we think.
