My min pin is about 9 months old now? Can I still train him and if yes, how? Can you give me some tips and tricks? Thanks!

Hello Harries and welcome to myLot!
Sure you can train your 9 months old dog. Any dog can be trained as long as he can move and he is healthy.
You can train him by using positive reinforcement. Dogs learn through repetition so if his actions are rewarded repeatedly, he will repeat the action to be rewarded again.
You name what you want him to learn and we will give you tips and tricks to help you teach him a new command.

You can choose as reward the thing that he likes the most.
Some dogs are happy to be rewarded with only their owners petting or just nice words, but most of them would not work only for praise.
The reward can be a small piece of food or your dog's favorite toy.
From my experience, the best results were obtained with food reward.
With the dog I have now, I use her regular dog food for training. She is a big eater and she would do anything to please me and determine me to reward her with some kibbles.
What do you think? What would your dog like the most?
