Dear God, Please keep everyone safe

I was just told by my mom over Skype that the incoming typhoon in the Philippine territory seems to be strong. She told me that sky is extremely gloomy and dark. According to her, it is already starting to rain cats and dogs.
I pray that God will keep everybody safe back home.

God listened and heard our prayers. The typhoon did not create much damage. :)

I'm in the Philippines and even though my place is not in any of the affected areas, the weather is still gloomy and dark and it rained for 2 days straight already. 
I just also hope that the typhoon would eventually stop as soon as possible. It is because I am going to travel back again not later than the end of this month. I guess by that time it would be okay already. Let us pray that everybody will be safe.

Jeez, that is scary.
I also do pray that when everything settles, everybody will turn up fine and unscathed.
I am also away from my family and I am worried about their welfare. I pray to God that they will be fine.
