Yeah, I know that... it's just acting. But in the realm of the story, IF the story was real - why can't they recognize the superhero even though he isn't wearing any masks?

I was wondering at that, too. To everyone watching the movie, it is obvious. But, the characters themselves in the movie don't realize it.

Yes, they could have made the movie more believable if the superhero was wearing a mask- like daredevil and batman, people could never guess who they really are. But then Lois Lane is always with Clark and Superman, how come she never noticed?

Aren't you thinking , they are stories , if a person can fly and if he can use his ring to protect people , How can't he hide his identity with a simple glass .

Yeah... they are stories- but it's just not good. Some superheroes don't even wear eyeglasses, they just hide under their superhero identity with their way of life- being poor..

Yeah, the superhero could be anybody since his double life is quite the opposite with what he does for the people. welcome to mylot Quarma.

It's not actually about the face but it's in the change in character. Clark Kent had a geek eye glasses on and he was very shy and had less confidence. When he turned into superman, hers a total change in the character as well. A very confident superhero with a killer smile. It goes the same with the rest of the unmasked super heroes that you've mentioned.
How many of us would give a geek a second glance? We don't. Even give them a minute or even just a few seconds. When one looks shabby, dresses sloppily and talks like an idiot, we hardly ever notice them. But give them self-confidence we can notice something that wasn't there before. It's like seeing an entirely new person. Their confidence exude so much so that they shine so bright, they made themselves with noticing.

Hi toniganzon, that is a wonderful explanation- yeah, people usually ignore people like those since they think it's impossible for them to be heroes because of their appearance- only those who look closely and pay attention can figure out the hidden lives of superheroes.
