Weird things happen in cyberspace...

I got a text message from Dearra on Friday. Then on Sunday I got it again. She swears she did not re-send it.
I sent an e-mail to the adoption center manager of the rescue group that I volunteer for. She never got it.
For a while there I was having problems with AOL and getting messages from a certain friend.
And here on myLot I sometimes don't get my notifiers. I haven't gotten any for MaggiePie's new discussions lately, for example, and I need to report that.
Things get lost in cyberspace. I wonder. Do you think there's a place in the Twilight Zone where all of our missing messages go and party or something? Or maybe they fall into a black hole, and then sometimes they fall back out again?
Where are those pesky missing messages going?

Please, dawn, if you discover the answer and we can get back those long messages we posted (those are the ones that usually go to the cyberspace) do let me know. I have a couple of stories I sent to friends for them to read and they never got it. I did not keep a copy of one of them. I know it´s my fault, but I never "save".

Kinda like where do our souls go when we die . . . hmmmmmm. For the most part, most of my missing stuff is explainable. I have a couple friends who say they didn't get certain emails of mine . . . well, for one, I can check on the emails I sent - and I can see that I did indeed send them. But, these particular friends of mine are not detail oriented and they often overlook things - I'll bet the email got in their junk box or they deleted it by accident or didn't see it (it's happened many times). That will happen with Facebook messages too - but that can't be missed because you can find that on FB - not just via email. When my messages don't make it on myLot, I usually know because something funky happens that I'll get a weird message from myLot and I know it didn't make it (boooo when that happens). I used to have problems with the PM here, no one got my responses - and it wasn't til way later that I realized there was no message sent from me. Well, I did respond, but I must have hit "preview" instead of submit - and left it at that thinking that it was sent.

I sometimes have to take the battery out of my phone and leave it out about 30 seconds to a minute and then put back in.. My mom said she sent me messages but I never got. But when I do that with the battery all the messages come in at the same time. I don't know if it is a glitch with the phone or the battery. Some messages are stored on phones and resend themselves I had that happen 10 times. When a message fails then I try again and again to send it sometimes end up sending the message that many times. ugh.. it can be a pain in the behind sometimes.

I haven't gotten any for Maggie, either...
So I checked my friends list, and she's not there...
Neither is Michael/Lamb/whoever he is today.

Boy! I would really hate to find out where that Twilight Zone Missing Messages place and go there to try to find anything. Can you imagine was a confusing spot that would be? Ugh! I used to have lost emails when on AOL too. I have had near to none after going to Yahoo. What's up with that?

I don't think those messages are lost in outer space. The clear thing with that problem was eaten by viruses. Because viruses will capable of blocking all message for not sending to the recipient...or there are people jam the message to intercept it for any purpose...
There reason's behind those message not sending to the recipient.

It's the Message Monster Messing with us. He's like the cookie monster except he chews messages instead of cookies. He lives in cyberspace in an ipod case. I sure wish I could find him I would sure like to recover my messages. Best Wishes!

It happened to me, just change your password and Dearra's too. When I did that, the use of e-mail address by others had stopped.

Somebody beat me to it with the Sock eating washing machine twilight zone theory ..Personally,I've had messages going off on their own somewhere for a couple of hours then as if reluctantly reappearing where they're supposed to,and not just at New Year's when text gridlock sets in...not what you need when the message is something you wanted delivered in the next few minutes!

Maybe it's like wall street stocks, there is a cyberspace-message bubble. Maybe all the people sending text messages, and emails are clogging cyberspace. And it's about to pop! Maybe the concept of the internet being infinite in size is not true.
Maybe I don't know what I am talking about?!
I did get some test messages last week that came a day after.
