what do you like in your salad?

l am sick of eating the same salad around....caesar's, house, wedge, etc. so i experimented with my own salad last night. I grated and sliced jicama, carrots, cucumber and mangoes and it was sooo good even without dressing!! I'm going to experiment again with other vegies and not stick with lettuce all the time. What about you what would you like in your salad if you want to make your own?

In my salad I like to eat cucumber, a round lettuce, spring onion, radishes, cress and a sprinkle of nuts. These are Brazil nuts and hazel nuts. I also like a mix of sunflower seeds, soya nuts and pumpkin seeds. I like to have a salad dressing that is low in fat and tastes like vinegar. Sometimes I like a mix of carrot, red cabbage and cauliflower. I often add some mushrooms to that sort of salad. I like lemon juice on lettuce for a yummy snack.

My favorite is tomatoes with mozzarela :) But i hate ceaser :( Last week i ate a salad with all kind of cheese,aisberg and crutons :) It was great,tomorrow i will make the same at home,but i'll use tona too :)

I like many different kinds of salads. I like croutons, bacon bits, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions. Some times I like salads with almonds or hot peppers, or grilled chicken. Wish I had one now. I am hungry. lol.

Salads are a refreshing treat to your palate. i enjoy lots of lettuce, with some croutons, nuts and chesse drowning in sweet and tangy french dressing. that is a salad to me.

I am on a diet so I eat salad a lot, so I too get sick of them. My biggest change is meats. I love chicken salads, sometimes in the chicken salads I use barbaque sauce instead of dressesing as long as it is not a think barabque sauce. Sometimes I put thin meats in my salad, sometimes I just put croutons, cheese, and vegatables and fruits in my salad. A change of dressings also makes a big differance. Find all the dressing you like, there are many out there, and change your dressing up if you get sick of salad.
