why so fanatism about end of the world?

Well religious people believe that they are good and will go to heaven. Heaven, a paradise much better than this cold, cruel world. I believe that this obsession with the end is partially due to fear, but primarily resulting from faith in a promise of a reward. People are so caught up in the past and future, that they totally neglect and take for granted the now.

LOL, i agree with you.when the time come,it will come with no notice.so live it today and enjoy everyday, don't wait for tomorrow,what the hell is going to happen in future nobody knows.so don't listen to anybody just do it today or you are a fool.

I think no one should be worrying about it so much. I don't worry about when the end of the world will come. I just try to follow God and try to be nice to people. I think its evil that their is a preacher that was on Cnn news he said the end will be here May 21??? thats all he promises. He swears by it that it will happen that day. I say evil cause if he read the bible He would have read Jesus words that say No one not even himself knows the day nor the hour when The end will start. Only God knows when it will happen.
