I finished college 11 years ago and got so busy with a lot of things like career and family. But my current position at work requires academic progress so I enrolled myself in a graduate studies program. In 2 weeks time, I am going to be a student again. For 11 years I was the one in front doing all the talking. I must admit, I can feel the excitement of the butterflies I have swallowed 11 years ago. Times are different now so I'm sure there are also a lot of changes in the academe. This must be how kindergarten pupils feel on the first day of school.

Firstly, I would like to congratulate you for enrolling yourself to grade studies. That is one of the best moves when you want to be rewarded by a higher position. I wish you all the best and I will pray for your success, too.
Even though I have a degree already, I still dream in pursuing a Hotel-Restaurant Management course because it was my first choice in college degree but my mom didn't allow me because work rate is low.
If I can manage to save up after the construction of our house, I will enroll myself again to a second year degree course in HRM and when I can save up again, might as well pursue it.

As for me, i finished my studies nearly 15 years ago and it seems like a dream to me. Because i was very busy with my career and family life, that didn't feel the time flies very fast. If i was asked to return school again, i think i won't feel comfortable with it either. Perhaps need time to get familiar with all those home-works and exams again. By the way, congratulate to you for being a student again...

I joined a class wanting to learn German and there I was the oldest but it was fun really trying to be a student all over again. My 'classmates' were good to me and were ready to help out whenever I had some difficulties. I secured 76% marks which I thought was great considering that I was out of the learning process for quite some years.

After 11 years, there must be so much change. I graduated from college for over 8 years also, I bet if I go back to school, there must be so much change, and so much differences. Anyway, it is a good thing to go back to school and earn yourself another degree. In this competitive world, we all need something for our leverage.
