What is the purpose of life ?

I'm trying to figure it out. I think that is what we spend most of life doing- trying to find out what our purpose is. I want to know one day what I can do to change the world somehow. Even a small impact would be nice. I want to feel proud of something some day. I want to feel as though I have done something useful and/or that I have helped others in some way. And as for what you said about there being no problem free-life, it reminded me of a quote I read the other day which I really liked. It goes: "Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it is about learning to dance in the rain." :)
