Hello Guys, You know what I learned for the past few weeks of being busy with less time mylotting to the point of getting upset, take a break and post when ever you feel like it. when you feel oblige i think there's a money motivation there and it's really gonna stress you if you don't meet your target for the day. I know newbies get to be addicted in mylotting, but when times go by, they'd stop for sure. having some breaks like the rest of the oldies or veteran posters. I hated being pretty much occupied but i have learned to tolerate it.seriously, it does frustrate me when it's slow and now that it's speed is upgraded the motivation seems to have lessen. We should have our owns schedule for being active online in mylot when we want it and comfortable for it. Or, you can always try do 50 post and ten topics a day with pictures and make your hand tired. I am back though but not all the time. thanks

I am here every day when I can be but not as a priority. When I have done all the things that should be done offline then I come here. I don't like television, get fed up with readoing a book and I can't knit in the summer so I come here This beats all the soaps! Get back when you can Letran. You know that we will still be here. Well maybe not all of us but there will be new Lotters waiting for you too

I'm fine thankyou Letran Not to worry about that PM and I hope your problem is not resolved. As long as you don't disappear completely all will be well. No-one wants to see you stressed out like you were last time as that is not fun at all!

Hello Aunt D. How are you lately, sorry about that last PM but am glad you made it clear to me and thanks. Maybe i should hate television too, nothing good comes out of it unless it's your favorite or something. don't worry i have taken longer hours now compare to before, but not as hectic as it was a year ago where i could be here around six to seven hours a day, which killed my PC for the first time Have a great day

I would like to gain that state again where this applies to me: to not get addicted. But alas, I get such a bad connection. Most of my time here goes without posting anyway, so I'm not much bothered by speed as long as there's a connection. But I love to be here everyday, even if not contributing much. My mind is such a no-help I can't accomplish posting even 10 times, everything included. OK there goes my usual awkward response. Happy mylotting every now and then. ^^

Too bad I've already tried posting 50 post then it took me 8 hours in order for me to accomplish it. Sometimes in order for me to make 10 post it took me 2 hours. Well I am that so slow. But sometimes I can make it as fast as possible.

Would that be 50 responses? Why not spend your time commenting and furthering the topic rather than responding onso many topics? It is more interesting to tak back and forth and your earnings will do better too

yes mysd you saying right, just posting new discussion is boring, discussion made interesting when arguements and more opinions are there.

My time for mylotting depends on two things - availability of time, and the mood of the day. Sometimes, even if I have a lot of time on my hands, but I don't feel like it, I'm not very active in here. Sometimes, too, even if I'm very busy offline, I still manage to post a lot of posts here.

Thanks, Ms.D. Actually, I was viewing my old discussions, and I came across one where I asked the diff between new and recent, hot and top, and you gave me a great explanation. I was very new that time, and so I didn't know I could add you as a friend. And, now, I see most of your comments and have become a fan. Then, I realized, hey, she's not even my friend! Yes, I do hope we bump into each other frequently in the future.

A great lesson from you, knight. I used to be on mylot almost everyday becuase I can (have the spare time and the internet connection) and I hate having nothing to do anything all day long. Mylot gives me a sense of accomplishment and work. I subscribe to the saying about idle hands and devil's playground, so I try to be productive as much as I could in this site. However, this routine possibly evolved into mild addiction. I will admit that this addiction happens when I have time to spare and I no pending assignments. However, lately, I feel that the discussion are not really getting into me and I don't get interested to surf the site anymore. Thank my friend who happened to give me an assignment when I really needed it. I guess for growing addicts like me, a little weaning from mylot is in order. I try to say 'no mylot' in my mind but my hands would do the opposite thing and type in this response to discussion box. Guess I'll start that process now by closing this response, posting it and logging out.

This is the Truth. Too many times we get frustrated because we concentrate so hard on posting a certain amount in here in a day, or trying to reach a certain amount each month in payout, etc. that we often forget that there is a life outside of myLot and taking a break is needed at times as well. I know that I go thru spurts on here and days where I am more active than others. There are times due to other things in life I may be lucky to post back at all. Personally it is great to be a member here, but never to the point it no longer is Fun. So when people decide it is time to take a Break from here, they should do so just remembering that myLot is still here but also taking care of Business in other parts of life as well.

I think we all go through the myLot phases. I have started discussions about it and so has others who have noticed the phenomenon.LOL Newbies sign up here for the money. Get addicted to chatting with different people. Forget the money and stay for the friends and the conversations. Then cant get enough of myLot that every minute is spent here even if there are no interesting discussions to participate it. Then the myLot break will commence. The member will be out of myLot for weeks at a time but eventually will come back at his own pace and free time without the intense pull of addiction that he/she cannot stop myLotting. That's the "myLot phenomenon" in a nutshell and the summarized version.LOL It's great that you still come back and not forget about all of us here. Wherever you are, and whatever you do, goodluck to you! Take care always!^_^

I agree with you. I think if the sole motivation of a person is to meet goals and make money with this site, they will be disappointed. I don't deny that I want to try to reach my first payout, but I don't comment on discussions with that as my main goal. I think if I do so then the responses will not be as detailed and interesting. I always respond to topics that interest me that I can say a lot about. I think if you are interested in a discussion then it is a more rewarding experience. If you have nothing to say, or are not motivated to write on this site, then I think it will bring the quality of the experience down, not just for you, but for others as well.

Hello Jaher, I love it here also but i don't want to active that much because i don't want to get disappointed if in case i can't mylot when i wanted to. i think the veterans doesn't have that much time any more because of the problems with their off line lives.

hello LK, I am addicted...and i can't get it through my veins...i rather stay here in mylot than watching news (same news) or watching movies (unless my fave). With mylot i can earn,i can see friends and i can listen to my favorite songs ... wanna have one ? this is not a referral link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2cFOLFtw2Ic

Hello Jaiho, Thank you for the comfort though, i agree we should always consider mylotting instead of watching some freaking bad news. i see friends here and talking so maybe i should stick around and talk to which is something not bad for some reason. i like the song and played. so, that's the movie version of it. have a great day.

I had that experience for a week. I was super lazy to comment and post and even read discussions! Okay, I'm not an addict anymore. But it did help me now. I haven't been that active this week, it's only now (Sunday) that I have been commenting on my friends previous discussions, guess it's not yet THAT late. I missed mylot. It's a great feeling to have a rest for a week here.

I am learning to earn it slow. No need to stress yourself over any lot, including this. This place is meant to be fun while earning, not being stressed. I know that if I should stop, the motivation to re-start is difficult, so I rather take it slow, and hopefully steady. 50 post a day? LoL...i would be happy nowadays with 5 to 10.

Hello tiffnkeat, It is indeed fun and shouldn't be considered something to be stressed about. mylotters are supposed to be here to release their stress and some can rant about it with out hurting other people. five to ten post is something not i do except when i really here for a rush, maybe we should consider being active when we are ready.have a nice day

Hello Farooq1, I think it's a good combination since we can "learn and earn" at the same time. we got a friend that has the same name. have a nice day

That is the same way with me. I come to Mylot when I have the time to. I really do not set goals here though because it takes up too much of my time. I have alot of other online work to keep up wih too.

For me too it depends on availability of time and my mind.... If i am in the mood of doing mylotting so i do it otherwise i don't.. It also depends on discussions-I mean how interesting they are??? If they are very interesting i am ready to respond them ... But if the discussions are not according to my interests i feel very bored and i don't feel like responding them and that's very right that newbies are addicted to mylot a lot more and as time passes they start feeling bored with it and so they do not come to mylot too much...

Haha what a great question. I used to MyLot I feel like 24/7. Or at least for 1/2-1 hour a day (which is a lot of time to set aside.) I'd also used to have 'goals' as far as how many posts I wanted to make (please don't launch into the 'quality over quantity' soapbox on me I just liked a tangible 'goal') but lately I've been busy with work, not to mention, don't have internet at home anymore. (And I'm not 'allowed' to use it at work..But shh.. don't tell my boss!) So now it's just when I have the internet available to me (which isn't very often). But sometimes I get in a MyLottin' kind-of mood.

I am as addicted as anyone, but I don´t think I post more than 1 or 2 posts a day. With that, and having to answer some of my friend´s posts and commenting on the answers I get, it takes a lot of my time. In fact, I must recognise I put a "notify off" at friends who make too many posts. I can always when them in other places where they won´t spam my mail. I like to do other things in my day also. For example today it is a beautiful sunny day in spite of it being Autumn. I went earlier to my mom´s home to get some pots for my lettuces and now I´ll go plant a few more. Happy posting, but don´t take it too hard.

I guess I am like you now. I really missed mylot when I got my day job that I got really upset. Now that I am at home again, I became very busy with other things that I can't mylot much and make up just like what I said when I came back. Now, I don't feel very upset when I can't mylot.
