hi, i have a compaq presario cq60 for the last 2 years now. it heats up for awhile too, but not for long. maybe 5-10 mins or so. i like this make of laptop alot, my next laptop chioce would be toshiba i think.

My Dell laptop lasted for four years then broke. Last month I bought a Toshiba laptop and I am getting on well with it. I like Acer laptops a lot. They seem to be light weight and yet very powerful. I think Sony makes expensive but very good quality laptops. I still like Dell laptops and think they are excellent value. I think that HP is a very professional brand of laptops. My teenage son has an IBM Think Pad. My disabled son has a Stone laptop that was made by Samsung.

I don't think laptop last long because of the brand .to me its how well you take care of it. Some people have dell an it serve a 5 year an up period and some hp are Samsung.but tome its not the brand its the way how you take care of it an how you use it .but most people when buying a laptop they look for the top name brand,we all know that its not the brand its how well you take care of it .
