Woman had a lot of insecurities in life,we always wanted to change everything if possible ,needs to improve body's,in fact others find it attractive, needs to get slim because your gaining weight ,sometimes i just cant fathom why we woman as part of who we are cannot just take and accept for what we are as a a human being/person,we are always not contented as to what God gave us......But Oh well,it come to my conclusions that insecurities is something that we have lived with it,its part of our life and basically its something like a struggle for us woman that we need to fight for it everyday.:)

Yes you are right abotu the struggle in everyday life. It's like one day you are happy with yourself and confident then something or some one can bring that all down and make you question your self or fell lesser. I struggle with this myself, more so years ago than now. Altho I am married now and maybe that reassurance from ym husband has kinds cooled my doubt in myself.

The feeling of insecurity is there in every living thing. Yes men also have it. Men have different problems like managing family budget, managing with bosses, managing with in-laws, managing desire to be good to all--may be list is not complete---

Nice discussion. I hate to go on a soapbox rant here, but it sucks being a chick! Of course men also face insecurities and have to deal with them, but I feel like 'appearance' is considered overly important to TOO many young women, old women, young girls (!!) out there, and society and certain men in our lives just don't help that obsession any. Gah.

When I was in my youth, I did have a lot of insecurities. Nothing in me was right and I always wished to be like someone else. I have outgrown this and have learned to accept who and what I am. Gained confidence and felt better, too. Although I still have insecurities but I have learned how to deal with them and not let them spoil my day or outlook in life.
But I think, this happens to men as well.

We tend to idolize the "perfect" women we see in magaziines, television, billboards etc. Not realizing that those women are all edited to look perfect. We get envious and we seek all available resources to achieve the perfection that we see. I don't think it is bad to want to improve oneself. It is okay to want a thin body as long as we attained it in a healthy way. It is okay to want to be attrative but not to the extent that we ruin the body that God gave us.

As a woman, I have ALWAYS been VERY secure in just being myself!!! I believe that if you don't like me just like I am...then you don't like me & it is your loss as I have a LOT to share!!! If you aren't willing to see what I have to share, then you don't deserve it!!!!
