How I can get my poetry out in the open and noticed??

I've been writing poetry for a few years now, and I've written hundreds of poems. I post some on Facebook sometimes, and the response is usually positive. I wanted to take it to the next level and maybe get my poetry out for more people to really read, and maybe even make some money off of it. Does anybody have any advice on how I can do this? Thanks!!!

Hey! why dont you start your own website. I believe there are a lot of people around who hesitate a lot to post their poetry in open. Your website can be a great help to them as well.
You can do some publicity by spreading a word about your site among your friends and close ones. It'll take some time but the result is definitely going to be fruitful. Besides you can also earn some bux out of it.

I do use pay-per-view websites like that, but I don't know if it's right for my poetry to be on them.

hi! 
it would be nice if you have a blog or a website that people can actually view when they are in the lookout for poems. and you can include a few short lines in your mylot discussions as teasers. that will get you viewers.
i sometimes wish there is a mylot poetry section for original works. or perhaps you can make a mylot blog dedicated for your poetry. i'm not sure if that is possible. but you can try.
for the earning part... have you ever tried participating in online poetry contests? or having an ebook about your poetry collection? if you have hundreds... that is certainly sizable for a book already. local mags and newspapers are sometimes in the look-out for the occasional literary art. having loads to choose from can be quite a handy reference.

Mohammed3, what you can do is ask your friends who knows a person where he can post your poetry in the good and better websites or else go and try to contact persons who are poets and take guidance from them. Ask how they get explored to this world and try to apply that method in you. Don't hesitate to ask this to any one because you required to get exposure then sure if you do so then you will get it in some other way. Try to contact news paper agencies so that weekly they use to publish articles or some kind of poetries then sure they may help you with this. All the best
