What is Education For You?

I agree with you that education is a continues process of learning and I believe as well to my teachers' statement that "If you find education expensive then try ignorance." It is true that if you can't pay for your kids' education or not allow them go to school even in public school, then the kid will learn nothing. Education is a foundation of the future.

Hello cora for me education is learning things, bradening of your mind by enhancement of knowledge.To educate means to teach someone something.When a cild is born her mother teaches him how to drink milk then educates him how to walk then he is admitted to school where teacher educates him how to write & read words to make him able to communicate with people around him.People spend whole life in learning things.But thing is sure education make a person more cultured,more competant,more knowledgable.

Hi cora, I agree with you that education is a continuous process of learning. Others teach us the basics but we educate ourselves and the process never stops. Although we need schools, colleges and universities, life itself is the great teacher for anyone who who will to look around them and to listen and observe. Blessings.

Education is anything that involves learning process within the surrounding of the person. That is my definition. Now for Wikipedia, Education in the largest sense is any act or experience that has a formative effect on the mind, character or physical ability of an individual. It is somehow of the same meaning to all definitions of every person's perspective on education. It is true that the word education is really broad. In college, for example, the education is more on researching and exploring new things on your own. Sometimes, teachers or professors would instruct you to form groups and just brainstorm your ideas about what you had researched. In the end, one has to report it in front of the whole class and the teacher would ask the student about their insight about the project or research. Now that is definitely the life of a college student that most of us have to overcome. In high school, for example, education is merely the start of learning how to do research and how to manipulate with your thoughts and answers. High school is definitely the most struggling time of my life. There were times that education seems to be impossible to handle at this point. Sometimes too though, spoon-feeding is one of the basic forms of education in High school. To conclude everything, education is really important for us.

I think one of the best definitions I heard on education was that being educated means you know where to go to find answers. Of course now the internet has greatly helped with that. Education is forever..the more you learn, the more you realize how little you really know.

For many i know, the meaning they give is - Compulsion In our country, studying is the only option we have got to lead a good life many of us hate to study bcoz it is forced onto them, onto us when we struggle to study we get punishments and not assignments its just the way of life here
