i have been married for 27 years and still our love is strong as ever. the secret is respect, trust, understanding, patience. try to settle your differences or arguments before going to sleep. make your partner feel that he/she is still special to you by hugging him/her, whispering sweet nothing.. lol.. and all the stuff that you have been doing while you were in your early years of marriage.

I've been with my girl for 41yrs and married to her for 38 of those 41. Love and honesty are very good grounds, and the more your with that person the more you become to realise that she was the best thing you ever got right. I can vouch for that.

I have been married to my husband for almost 4 years and we have been together for a little over 5 years now. :) This is the longest relationship I have ever been in. We also have a son who is 10 1/2 months old. He is the light of our life. I think we just get along so well. We like the same things...

Yup! Twelve years and still going strong! We're best friends. That's what does it for us. We talk about everything. There are no secrets between us. Most of the time, he knows that something is bothering me before I do.
We don't try to change each other. We fell in love with each other for who we are. Granted, people grow, but you have to let them without trying to impose what you think they should be.Be supportive of their dreams and help make them reality.
I love being married to my husband! Wouldn't change a thing!

i had a long term relationship, but it was mostly a long distance love affair. it was actually just based on neither of us wants to let go.. that was for 6yrs. then when he decided to propose, that same time, i decided i've had enough..

met my hubby 9 yrs 3 months ago, been married now 9 yrs 1 month. we'd known each other 2 WHOLE months and knew it was rite. we've got 2 boys and i'm as happy 2day as i was the 1st day i met him and fell in luv/lust. sometimes we're oil & water. but we're the perfect compliment 2 each other. we've never had an argument (i'm sure we will 1 day) b/c we agree 2 disagree. i respect him and i'd give up any organ in my body if he needed it 2 survive.

My husband and I have been together for 12 years. We have an 11 year old son. I think what makes it work for us is that we are alike in many ways but different as well. I think if we were too much like each other we wouldn't get along. We are the best of friends. Honesty and trust is a big part or our relationship.
