Every pain that I experienced from labor to delivery, those were all worth it. As I watch her development everyday, I feel that God really loved us so much that He gave us such a beautiful gift like this.

I wonder if your baby has come early perhaps. I have had three pregnancies and a natural labor each time. I like having a home birth that is active and natural. I had an 8 hour labor with my first baby and labored in a water pool which relived the pain. I had an easy and not painful 2 and a half hour labor with my second baby. I had a painful 7 hour labor with my daughter. I didn't have any pain relief for my second and third babies births. In my first labor I used gas and air plus the water pool.

Congratulations you must be eagerly anticipating the arrival of your new bundle of joy... I have recently had my 3rd child he is now a 11 weeks old... I have been rather lucky and had quick births with no complications. I wish you all the best and a safe arrival for bubs...

I have had three daughters. The first time the delivery date came close, I worried about the pain, whether or not to use an epidural, and who was allowed in my room. That only made the delivery more stressful, so I made a few changes for my other deliveries. I made sure that no more than two family members took part in the delivery and i stopped stressing about what was going to go down. I just focused on the fact that no matter how long labor was, i was going to have a beautiful baby in the end and that the pregnancy was almost over! Dont sweat the little stuff, even the epidural. You don't know how you will tolerate the pain, so go in there with an open mind and know that no one is going to think less of you for trying to find some relief in a very uncomfortable situation. Good luck!

Congratulations on your pregnancy. Your baby will be born sometime soon in the next month probably. I wish you lots of good luck for your labor. I like to have a natural and active labor at home with a midwife assisting me. I think relaxation helps when in labor. In my first labor I used a birthing pool that I had hired. I also had used some gas and air. My second labor was quick and easy. I didn't have much pain and didn't have to push. The beginning of my third labor it was confusing due to the timing of my contractions. I had a bath to relax me and then my contractions went ever so strongly. Wow! When my baby crowned it was like sitting on a pine cone. Seeing my babies were very special experiences. Now I have them aged 16 years, aged 4 years and in another month my daughter will be 2 years old.

Congratulations, mamiqlt02. I just gave birth last february 25 to a healthy baby boy. 3AM of February 25, I can feel the pain around my waist. At around 7am, I went to the hospital but the doctor in the Emergency Room told me that my cervix is still closed. She advised me to go home and I did. 10am in the morning, I texted my OB. I informed him of the pain I am experiencing. He advised me to go to the hospital for him to check my situation. He said that the cervix is already dilated (1cm) and I need to be admitted. At around 1 pm, I am at the labor room. There, I waited until 5pm. My OB discussed to me and my husband that I will not be able to deliver my baby via NSD because my cervix is so small and I am carrying a big baby. At 5:55pm, I gave birth to a healthy 7 pound baby boy via CS. :) Goodluck sis. :)
