Yesterday Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi told Obama that in Italy there is a judge dictatorship. This is totally wrong. He has a lot of accuses: corruption, mafia contacts, pedophily and more and he's trying to change the justice law to don't go to processes.
In Italy voters are not with him (last administrative votations demonstrate this) but his Government resists only because he's buying the vote of corrupted politicians. I hope this situation ends soon.
If you look at Obama facebook page today you can find thousands of Italians dissociating from Berlusconi's sentences and I'm doing here the same: I'm sorry Mr. Obama, Berlusconi it's not speaking in my name.

Hi Matpunk: I have experimented this same feeling with some congressmen and even with the president of my country. I hate when politicians don't respect judges and the law in general. If they have commited crimes they must be judge and justice independence is necessary in every democracy.

Yes, laws must be respected. Berlusconi even pays supporters to stay outside the law court and support him.

I am an Italian and I can not stand the Mafia. I do not believe in any type of organization, especially organized crime. That would be a disaster of the Mafia was running Italy. I guess instead of moving forward in this world, we are going backwards. This world is destine to major war and disaster. I have no more faith in government.

That's funny because Americans do that all the time with politicians.
