thats a big topic you have there, from lady gaga then Jesus. but i will just response to your topic why is lady gaga popular. because she does not care nor criticize people so people do not criticize her in return. she makes good music and she sings live even she is dancing. there are a lot of young singers right now but all they do is making their face cute.. that is not considered as talent. all youngster around the world are cute. i am tired of seeing this demy lovato, selena gomex singing but all they do is trying to be cute. lady gaga has a talent of a good performer, just like adam lambert. and there is this originality factor thats why she is popular.

You may be right about why she is popular with that she doesn't care that others are different. However, I do not think that there is any comparision between Lady GaGa and Jesus. I believe that she might have some good music, but I think that the younger kids like her because she is very different from what they are used too. I personally think that she is sometimes very dillusional.

I think Lady GaGa is so popular because she is a good singer and entertainer and she keeps re-inventing herself and making herself new and different. She reminds me alot of how Madonna was in her youth back in the 80's and 90's. She always re-invented herself too. And she was controversial, etc. just like Lady GaGa is. I believe she is following the Madonna playbook. I enjoy her music, she always has something that is interesting to watch and her voice is great. She writes nice tunes so what's not to like really? She is an entertainer so people keep listening and buying her music and buying tickets to her concerts. Also, she speaks her mind - whatever is on her mind or whatever her opinions are - she is not ashamed or embarrassed to voice her ideas. So, I can understand what makes her so popular. Some of her outfits are too crazy for me but it does draw attention to her and makes people talk about her so that is good publicity for her. She's always full of surprises and in the news. That's funny that you believe that the reason she's popular is because she provides a place where everyone can fit in and it's okay to be different. I find it funny because that's what I and tons of other people have been saying for a long time in regards to other artists, and most of these artists aren't mainstream at all. People are so much the same that it makes all our differences seem so petty and all the fighting over simple misunderstanding is just so ironic.

Lady gaga is popular in my opinion because shes not afraid to dress how she wants.whether shes just walking around in her undies or wearing some elobaorate head piece. she don't care if people don't like it. Same with her lyrics she writes whatever she feels,and has a great voice.

I agree in both aspects. We desire to know that being different is okay and may even be terrific, and that need is met by Lady GaGa, but she is not the ultimate solution to feeling unloved and needing acceptance. We have a need to be loved and to belong. God loves me for no other reason than that I exist.

i think because she is identify with the young people, she reflects some kind or rebelion to the social rules, and that is what young people feel about adults disobidience is part of so call freedom for kids today, so when they have opportunity to show or express in their own way. we were kids before so we can understand what kind of behavior can be adopted with this kind of artist.

I like her because of her songs. also she's different from others. she doesnt care what the world thinks bout her for what she wears and how she displays herself. thats a good thing, because no one in the world cares bout you, so why should she care bout what they think of her.
