From what I remember my first taste of coffee was when I was 9. I used to like coffee with milk and sugar. I drank thrice a week. Every passing year my drinking habits increased. Eventually I drank coffee once a day. At the age of 17 I switched to instant coffee and 3 in 1 mix. Never was a day I didn't drink. Now I still drink, 3 in 1 mix or the mocha mix, mostly twice a day.
That's about it about my coffee life. Before I never imagined coffee to be a part of my routine but it did. Care to share your life with coffee? How young were you when you had your first taste? What type of coffee? Do you still drink coffee until now?

Hi. dranreb1986. Welcome to myLot! I first tasted coffee when I was about 19 years old. I may have tasted it when I was a teenager, but I did not care for it though. But I remember drinking some coffee that my aunt left out for me before she went to work. So coffee was not my favorite beverage and so I tried it. It made me feel good, I felt like I was fully awake. I also felt like I had energy. But after drinking coffee it made me feel sleepy. So, I do love coffee, don't get me wrong, I just don't drink it as much. I drink coffee almost every two to three months. And I only have at least 2 cups of coffee then, only one time. I usually drink, "The International House of Coffee, The Maker's of Maxwell House." I love drinking sugar free coffee. The mocha flavor is my favorite to drink.

I can't remember when was the first time I drank coffee. I think I was also 9 at that time. I also like coffee with milk and sugar, or creamer. I still drink coffee until now but not really usual. Sometimes I drink coffee once in a day, sometimes I drink twice in a day, sometimes no coffee at all in a day. It's not really a routine for me but i like drinking coffee.

When I was young -- we were told that one should not drink coffee and hence children were given cocoa, Bournvita like that.
I started drinking coffee more probably after joining service in my 19th year. Coffee or Tea is a routine and while working I use to drink minimum five to six times every day.(small quantity)
Now coffee is a must. Every day morning on getting up we take coffee -ofcourse with milk and sugar. Again in the afternoon. Where we do not filter coffee we take instant coffee.
Starbucks coffee also I like very much.
In chennai coffee means -- "Kumbakonam degree coffee" in Sangeetha Hotel is the best. It costs Rs.20 (roughly 45 cents). But the taste is superb. And that too it has to be taken in dubara tumbler not in cup and saucer.
Some people drink black coffee only. but i do not like that.
have a good day

hi dranreb like you I was 9 years old when I had my first coffee. My mom was a nurse and made me drink weak coffee every morning as medicine for my low blood pressure. I hated the taste but had to drink it.
But I started drinking coffee when I was at university. One of my friends there introduced me to filtered coffee with milk and honey in it so its sweet and smooth. That tasted better and I have had coffee ever since.
The way I have my coffee depends on the day. If its a workday I have my instant coffee at work as this is the quickest way to get me a coffee, with condensed milk in it. At home on weekends or holidays its regular filtered coffee with skim milk, no condensed milk which tastes awful in filtered coffee.
As I am diabetic, rarely sweetener and only a little bit if at all.

I started drinking coffee in the 6th grade. I know I didn't need it to stay awake or anything it just tasted so good. I use to drink the santo domingo coffee with 4 scoops of sugar and some carnation milk. And it's been like that until the 12th grade. When I moved up to Arkansas it changed, they don't have the santo domingo coffee up here and I don't really like the other kinds of coffee. Now I drink instant coffee with 3 scoops of sugar and some coffeemate.
