Well, not everyone feels the same though. i don't really love country music and I believe that there are better singers than him in the competition. but congratulations to him- hope he does great. welcome to mylot.

4 months later, failed album..... idol votes is controlled by 12 year old girls who just vote for the cute guy but doesn't buy their album. I think idol needs to get rid of phone and text votes, it should be based on i-tunes sales. that can judge which singer can sell records. when Jason Castro is eliminated he have the highest i-tunes sales. I think itunes sales should be basis of elimination and winner declaration.

I am definitely looking forward to his successes. I have never liked country music but ever since he was on AmeriCan Idol, I think I like country music. He was one of my favorites and I am glad to see him win. I hope that he continues on with his career and not disappear like some American Idols have done.GO SCOTTY!!!!!!!!!!

I knew he would make it as well, or at least very far. I never thought that he would make it all the way. I'm glad he did though he deserves it. Especially after all my favorites had left too. He was the last of my favorites.

Personally this is who I was rooting for from almost the very start. He definately knows how to play to the audience and looked like a star. I cannot wait to be able to buy his first CD, and really wishing him lots of success from here on out. I truly think he will be one of the next upcoming stars in Country Music for sure.

Oh Yes, Yes, Yes!!!! Scotty was my all time favorite right from the very beginning. I just heard "I love you this big" on the radio the other day. Just love his voice and he seems like just such a nice guy too. I hope he will be a huge success.
