How safe are Smart phones?

Hi there, I am a smart phone user for several years. I have gone through all the blackberry brands out in the market. Because it is similar to computers I too was concerned if it can get a virus. After thorough research online and with Blackberry directly I have been told it is not possible to get virus to the phone. I have never had an issue and use the net constantly on mine as I have an unlimited data plan. I have not had any bad experiences with mine and my son has an iPhone and has not had any bad experiences with his.

Here too many are buying those and using if they have money, any thing that gets connected to internet can have virus , yes if one is carrying a costly but handy gadget, snatchers are always tempted to grab and run lol. Hi pinklilly! Nothing is safe while connected on the internet! You can only prevent. Today we have a lot of anti virus and OS, sure we can fight back against virus, worms, trojans but never with 100% sure that we will win! But enjoy your time on the web, in the future will be more virus but more people who know about it! and maybe, we will be safe again ;D Have a Nice Day!
