Why on earth am I up so early and typing at John's work?
Well, we're off to pick Mum up later but, unfortunately, John has to come into work first. We're only going to be here an hour or so, then we can carry on driving down to Mum's house.
It's weird being up and typing at such an unGodly hour but kinda cool at the same time..oh, and I love Macs!
What's the weirdest time you've been on MyLot and do you access it at work?

Gorgeous aren't they? Me and John were drooling over the new ones in an electrical shop here in Carlisle but the keyboards have the number keypad missing! That's one aspect of Apple I hate, making people spend more money for an extra number keypad. Anyway, what I'd do is create a scene in the shop and tell them "I'm not leaving here until you give me the proper keyboard as I'm not prepared to spend any more money."
The keyboard at John's work was fab..and it had its number keypad.

That's a good idea actually, getting up and using the internet if you can't sleep. I've never done that before but may do so in future..so thanks.
I guess I got into Macs because of John and the fact he uses them at work, therefore uses one at home too. The one at home is one of the old CRT-type monitors and the ones at work are flat screens. The best thing about Macs (and many users will tell you this) is that they never get the viruses PCs get. Macs that don't use their operating system of Safari may get them but that's about it. The screens are also very bright and gorgeous.
One thing I don't like about Apple, though, is the "extras" one has to buy for upgrading, etc. John's Mac is about 6 years old and hardly works, yet my Sony, I had 9 years until it broke completely in December.
Apple want their machines to become obsolete very soon so you buy another one. I don't like that, especially now when we're all skint!

The world is filled with imacs, macbooks, apple macs and anythning else that you could name beginning with mac..or apple lol. My daugther has a netbook and when we go to babysit it is that that I use,if I have time to write! The netbook is good, it boots up quickly and it functions well. The keyboard is easy to use but i do find that I tend to miss aim after tyoing on a larger keyboard. My son has an itouch and he can access the internet through that, I have a mobile phone that can access the internet but it is frustrating to use, the keys are so small and it makes life difficult.

lol sounds like you were keeping yourself busy, that is a plus! As for me I do not work outside of the home at a job where I can myLot at. But I did go through a rough period in January and February and found myself myLotting at 3am for many weeks.
It did keep my mind off quite a few things while I did so, so it was a plus for me at the time.

You meant that you were going to pick your Mum up ,doesn't she live in Blackpool?
It is a bit earlier for you to type at 6.46 a.m..but over here,It is light already at 5 a.m.I usually get up around 6 o'clock.I have mentioned it before,I start to surf Internet from 1 p.m. every day.

We picked her up after John finished work at around 7.30am. He only went in for an hour and took me because we travelled to Blackpool immediately afterwards. We actually live in Carlisle but John works in Penrith..but Penrith is closer to Blackpool
I hope all that makes sense!

I've never been up on MyLot at weird hours unless you count a few midnights 4 years ago when my husband was out of town.
I don't work outside the home anymore but when I was...I've never ever accessed mylot at work....I would think many times to check my email at work...and would do so only if I had to check some work related stuff.
6.46am isn't a weird time for me :-) I'm up at 5-5.30 am most mornings and that's the time to myself when I usually get on Facebook and sometimes mylot.

5am is the earliest I've got up for a VERY long time. I'm beginning to feel it now and it's only 10pm!

I don't think I've ever been on mylot at a strange time because I'm likely to be on any old time - but I've never been on it on a Mac tho I get on and check my messages at work all the time, I don't respond because that would kick Maggiepie off unless I use my phone...
oh, I guess I have been on mylot on a Mac... my phone is an iPhone...

I can't say that I have ever accessed myLot from work but I do love Macs too. I have two Macs, an iMac and a Macbook; my daughter has a Macbook Pro and my Dad is on his second iMac. I also bought a Mac Mini for my office. I cannot imagine using anything else! The latest time that I have ever been at work is about 2am having started at 8.00am! But I certainly wasn't myLotting!

Wow, you certainly love Macs! There were loads of them in John's office, I was positively drooling!
