how do you handle criticisms?

Nobody's perfect and you cannot please everybody are phrases which probably are very familiar to most of us. These are often said to comfort those who have been badly criticized. Though very comforting, these phrases don't always work. Not all of us can handle criticisms gracefully. If others can just brush them off as senseless, there are those who suffer from inferiority complex. As mylotters, you probably have been criticized by those who respond to your discussions. How did you handle it?
