There are times, where i think, have i done all the things that i need to do and there are other times that i forget to do the things that i really needed to do.I have found that i am now questioning myself, also i am now having to write things down, so that i do not forget to do them.Even with putting things on paper i still find myself thinking have i forget anything.

I don't actually question myself because I am always thinking. I always keep track of everything that is going on. I do at times forget something, but that happens to the best of us. I find that writing things down is a plus but I tend to use my iPhone for notes. That is because it is always with me and I can refer to it anytime.

hi joysick oh yes indeed often. I am a perfecionist only we are human so I end up not being perfect. I do make lists and I try to keep up with what I feel I should not. being retired and in a retirement center a lot of things are done for us but still there are things I must keep u p with
I do usually follow my lists but too I make my lists flexible so if something cames up that I have to do then the other things on the list have to take their turn.but I do have a lot more self confidence in my senior years as I have been through an awful lot.

I am forever double thinking myself. A woman needs to go with her first gut feeling and I can't seem to do that. I will get and then stop and double think and alot times end up getting into trouble because of it. Not good. I am getting better but it can be frustrating at times.

I used to be able to remember everything that I needed to do, but when getting older and older, and more and more things needed to think and to do, I tend to forget something I need to do. So, then I started to use a notepad to record down what I wanted to do, and that really help me a lot. But there are many things that cannot be record down in the notepad like did I closed the door or not? Did I off the light in the room or not? Did I bring the door keys with me or not? I have to check twice before I leave home to make sure they are really closed and done. I think this is either a syndrome that we are getting old or our brain have deteriorated.

It also happens to me to forget from time to time that there are some things to be done and to remember them when it's too late, but as long as those things aren't essential for my existence it's no problem,I can't remember everything when I have so many different things on my mind,so even if I also write things on paper,I might still forget something. It's in human nature to forget,so I don't worry too much.

I do question myself from time to time, whether it is a choice that I made or have to make, or whether I remembered to unplug my curling iron. I also write things down so I do not forget, but sometimes even if something is written down I still forget. I think it is a good thing to question yourself, especially if it will lead you to make the right choice or to remember something you would have otherwise forgotten.

I question myself all the time! I do this because I lack in self-confidence and I sometimes forget about myself! I have been known to be so consumed with other people or other things that I only think of them and not myself. With the confidence it is much better then it used to be but I still catch myself no being as confident as I can be! I am still a work in progess!

Joy you are not alone,
I too have the same happen to me and though I know I take on more then I should I tend to think I can accomplish a great deal then end up questioning myself if I did this or that.
So as you I do write a to do list almost everyday and re-write it so that I can take off what I did and re-order my priorities.

I am always question myself about almost all works. Very simple example that i can give is, yesterday my friends and i went to another friend's house. There i kept my helmet and key on the table. Then i don't know when i took the key that is my bike key, i kept it in my pocket. But while leaving my friend's house i went to take my helmet but there i was searching for bike key because i remember that i kept the key on the table with the helmet but only helmet is present then where is the key?! then my friends both searched a lot even his family members too. When i checked my pockets then i realize that i kept the key in my pocket!!!!! then i didn't say that to my friends. Just i told it was in the helmet.

I only ask myself for a few times although i always try to. I just couldn't do this. I pretty want to know how you can do this.
Everytime i try to ask myself. I just don't know what to answer.= =

Sometimes I ask myself what did I do wrong. I should not bother about the things that have happened and I cannot change. And also if I cannot manage to do something, I should not get upset but think that there is new tomorrow.

i certainly do. Questions vary from time to time. Simple questions like "Did I leave my pen on the locker?" or it could go as deep as "Am I happy or joyful?".. I think that it's one of the beauties of our humanity. You can ask yourself many things, meditate and even search for your inner sense of being.

Yeah I get that sometimes too. especially when I get ready to leave the house I have to go through the whole house asking myself if i have everything i need. And I have this problem where I check to make sure that I havent left anything on that could catch on fire while I am gone. I check for candles, flat iron, the regular iron, the stove anything. And the bad thing about it is i may go over the same steps several times before I actually get out the door.I also write things down whenever I dont want to forget anything when i go to the store or I will write down things when I dont want to go over my spending budget. So you are not the only one I question myself all the time.

well i think i can relate to that same situation, but , i try not to be too hard on myself. maybe i'd question myself once or twice, and after that, it's enough. i just have to admit that i made a mistake, and i'm not perfect, so i tend to forget some of the things i know i shouldn't be forgetting. and then just move on. yes i make lists, lots of lists, of what to do, what to plan, bla bla bla... but i don't always stick to it. because some things just come up unexpectedly. and sometimes i do things that i shouldn't have done, because it's a mistake to do it.

I am so guilty of this. I am very disorganized. That's why I always have things undone for the day. I tend to lose things as well because I'm not able to keep up it in order. I know I have to work on this asap. I have so much task on my shoulders at work. I believe if I'm able to do this, I can get things done before its due date.

Don't tell me you have one of those senile problem. My grandpa might have similar symptom, whenever he done something, but he wasn't so sure about it. He might think did I do it or not.
Well, for me, I am not saying that I am 100% sure I am confident on myself. But I just don't have this kind of mentality yet. But, I would sometimes doubt myself whether I had done the right thing or not.

often. i was raised by my perfectionist grandma. and so i was used to dressing up perfectly, acting perfectly, being perfect in her eyes... but i never succeed. when i grew up i realized that i can never be perfect, no matter how she shows effort to tell me "do this, do that" but since i was trained to be as close to perfect as possible i often question myself especially whenever i commit mistakes. im trying to avid that attitude but im still in the process right now.
