Do you have good penmanship?

I was accused by my mom, and my friends, that I have really bad hand writing. Not so bad that they can't read my writing, or my writings weren't illegible or something like that. Since I graduate from high school and college, I shouldn't have such bad hand writing, since I practically practice it everyday. I have to admitted, my writing wasn't pretty at all. It just my nature writing style, and I don't know why I keep on writing this way. Luckily, the world invented typewriter, and computers right. Now, our writing can go through typing, and print out all the same style. Do you think you have a bad penmanship too?

When I write slowly, my handwriting is normal. While I was studying, in lectures I used to take notes really quickly, and others could not understand all what was written. I write more often on computer now.

I used to think that my handwriting was very easy to read. One year when I was having a birthday party my aunt and my uncle asked me to write a wish list and I did. When my aunt handed me my gift she said: "I am sorry, but we couldn't find that cd by Grieg that you had mentioned on the list, so we bought something else." And I thought: "Grieg? I know he is composer, but I sure am sure that I didn't mention his name on my list" It turned out that they had misread the words Pink Floyd because of my handwriting! And I always thought that my handwriting was really pretty and easy to read

Oh yes. My penmanship is bad. If I really concentrate I can make it look really good, but writing down something fast? Good luck reading it later without my help. Or even with my help sometimes. I do tend to type things up on my computer nowadays but at work and such its just not really an option.

I have to admit that I have really good penmanship. It is bad when I have to write in a hurry though. If I take my time, it looks really good.

I love to write handwritten things such as cards and notes. I think that handwriting something is much more personable and meaningful than typing something. I receive compliments on my writing all the time, even when I think it looks messy. I combine regular writing with cursive and sometimes just use regular writing. So, at times I think my penmanship is bad, but others would disagree.

I have never been blessed with good penmanship. thank goodness for the inventions of the typewriter and the computer. at least that way my handwriting could be easily deciphered. My mother always said that i write faster than i think so that is the reason for my poor penmanship.

I can say I am lucky enough to have a good penmanship.I have two usual styles that I use on different times, sort of a freestyle when I am in a kind of a hurry and one in roman lettering form when writing love notes, special mails or just wants to be creative. It is important that we have a good penmanship most especially when we are applying for a job or making reports. We don't people asking us always about what we wrote there and has to spell out again what we have written. That would be a waste of time, isn't it?

I have a good penmanship, one thing my wife liked about when I wrote her letters. But my daughter has bad penmanship, he doesn't even read it sometimes. The reason for that is she writes quickly to catch up with her lessons. But she's fortunate now, since there is computer.

I admit I don't have good penmanship. But I am still trying and trying to make my penmanship have some improvement. And it was paid off. My penmanship did improve even a few percent.

I used to have awful penmanship until the seventh grade. My father used to tell me my penmanship was bad and it was important to improve it because at times that might be the first impression others have of me. I listened and that summer I consistently and constanly practiced writing exercises until by the end of the summer I had totally improved. I am happy I did it because I do think people judge by the neatness and flow of yur writng..whether that is right or wrong, that is how it is.

I have always written like a child. When you see my writing at first glance you will think a child wrote it. But since it is content that really counts, it does not bother me. And as you pointed out, computers eliminate bad penmanship. lol

I remember back in the days when I wasin middle school I used to have such bad hand writing. My sister always used to correct me and I would complain and told them that that's how I was used to writing. But since she always told me that my hand writing was bad and not understandable, I had no other choice but to change my penmanship. Now, I must say, I have nice hand writing. My hand writing has progressed 100%.
