Is Skinny always the best looking?

I just want to ask, is it to be skinny always give the impression of best looking? I mean most people would say "thinner" always look better than fat. But would that really mean skinny people look better when they are getting skinnier, and skinnier. Let's take out the health problem on the side. I saw some lady too skinny, don't really give me the best look at all. I just think she simply like a chopstick, and nothing else. If I would want a girl, I rather she has some meat on her body, than simply skin wrap around the bone. To me, too extreme on both sides is bad; Either too fat or too skinny. What do you think?

i think each size has its own beauty, and really does it matter when your heart falls in love with the person you want? ;) indeed we all have our own opinions on this, but all are perfect as they are.

Indeed, everyone is perfect and beautiful in the truest sense of it.

I personally don't like too skinny. They look like they have an eating disorder or something. It looks terrible in my opinion. I am average weight and I am okay with that. I don't want to look like a stick figure. Besides my husband likes a little curve in the right places if you know what I mean. I have to agree with him. There needs to be some meat on your bones to look attractive!

I agree with you that extreme on both ends is not good. I don't think it even looks healthy to have your bones sticking out and you face sunk in. I think that each person has a weight at which they look best. For some it's more slender, for some it looks better to have a little more meat on them.

hi, for me i think skinny is nice for me because it will show the sexiness of a person's body, that's right "thinner" always look better than fat",but not super thinner one just slim but sexy.

Definitely skinny doesn't look good. If a girl is too skinny then she will look as if she's suffering from anoreksia. I've come across girls with super skinny arms and legs. Even when they wore skin tight jeans, they don't look attractive because their legs has no shape on it. The golden ratio for leg is 3:2:1 from thigh, calves and ankle.

I really have to agree with yo about this. To skinny is not good and too fat is not good either. I think it is a little in between for the average person unless you have a perfect body.

for me no. i get sad or worried if people would tell me i lose weight. im tall and probably i look like a chopstick too if im that thin. i feel uneasy walking and i feel unattractive. i easily gain weight but i also lose weight easily especially when i get sick. i prefer a little curve and im actually on the process of gaining weight.

I agree. Being too skinny and being too fat are both unattractive and unhealthy. I am on the too chubby side but I am not on the extreme obese side. I am working on getting down to an average size but I see some girls who are so small eating nothing but salad and I just can't help but hope they won't make themselves sick or faint one day from lack of food.

I'm fat! ..really. It's no joke. And I like it. I mean NO, not this time. Not this time because I'm already overweight. Unlike before, I was fat/chubby/healthy-looking but with normal weight. So, I'm cutting down a bit to stay healthy AGAIN and to have a normal weight.

in my opinion, I don't think being skinny guarantees you that you are the best looking thing in the world. Sometimes being too skinny can be really gross to look at, besides I think some guys prefer meat on a women's body.

Either extreme is bad both upon the eye, and for the person involved. What I do find disturbing is the way that people who lose weight are treated like heroes/heroines, "Oh look at you, you've lost pounds, well done, that's amazing etc.!" . They've not wrestled a child from out of the jaws of a rabid Yeti wielding a chainsaw!

hi!! I totally disagree with this. I think a little bit of chubbiness and curves is the best look. You may look malnourished if your skinny. Choosing the best outfit for your body structure will make you look good.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say it. It's still in the person who perceives you. =)

I have a feeling that the idea of being skinny as best looking, is only propagated by girls too. This is just an idea that Hollywood is trying to press on society. I think most guys don't like really skinny girls too. Curvy yes, skinny NO!

Nah, I don't really like skinny myself- curvy is where the money is at for myself- for how a woman looks.

No, some people look older when they get too skinny, I think, and some people just look better for other reasons if they have some more meat on their bones. So it depends on the person really. But neither too skinny or too fat is pretty, you're right about that!

It depends on what you mean by skinny. People have different images of themselves. An anoxexic will think she is too fat. The rest of us may think she looks like she just came out of a concentration camp :( I think some muscle is very healthy looking. I am happy to see some models are now being encouraged to have more weight than in years gone by. I agree with you king..both extremes are not good. Also as one gets older a little more weight makes them look better --say 10 pounds or so more than the thinner weight of their 20's.(provided that were thin of course :)
