Lets say you are working at a good job that is paying good money. You like your boss and the both of you would get along well. One day your boss heads out of the office with another person that you know is not a client or no one that works there or they could work there and you know that person is single, but your boss is not single and supposedly says they are happily married. They tell you everything about their life with their husband/wife. You watch them in the office and the seem to be flirting. Okay your boss tells you that she/he is going to lunch with that person and won't be sure when they will be back. She/He tells you that they know that they're spouse is coming to pick them up later for lunch. They ask you to not tell their spouse of what you have seen and let them know that they are on an errand and not sure when they will be back. Would you cover for her out of fear of losing your job. Who cares its her/his life anyway. Would yo tell the significant other about what you know an risk losing you job. Who cares you can find another one anyway. What would you do and why. Me I think that I would just not say anything. I mean it would really depend on how well I know the couple and it would really be none of my business. On the other hand if I knew both of them well then yes I would probably leave a hint letting them know what is going on.

I would say nothing. Only if I'll be friend or kinda friend with spouse of my boss then I'll say the truth, and if he/she will fire me I'll sue him/her for firing me because of something not related to work.

Yeah, I think that would be a good idea if they were to fire you.

i think that i will not tell anyone about what is going on no matter how well i know the couple. because no matter how long is the night the day will soon break. that means sooner or later the truth will come out and the other part will definitely knows what is going on.

I don't lie for anyone. I would probably say that "he said he was going on some errands." That would be true. But I would not allow myself to be part of an inquisition because then I would have to tell the truth.

To be honest I would be bothered by it. I have friends in my regular chatroom who are married and had hooked up despite being both married. They'd tell everyone that it's just a chatroom thing but their posts had me thinking that there's a lot more than just a chatroom thing. It would annoy me because, here I am, single with a kid to raise, would be totally faithful and practically die for a husband I never had while these happily married couple married to other people would actually do something so totally immature. Of course, since there's probably nothing I could do about it, I'd just shut up and let hell eat both of them, haha!

Trisha for me i will cover up my boss because its there life & i am nit allowed to interfere. Secondly i an confined only to work with boss i have no right to say & get involved in his personal life. Lastly i fear if i say the truth this will effect my job & also will effect my annual increments which i get every year.
