I think Face book is the best medium of connecting people. It is one of the best social networking site. Face book has affected the social life and activity of people in various ways. It can reunite lost family members and friends. One such reunion was between me and my brother who is living in USA now. We met after 6 years when I found his Face book profile.
There is an interesting fact about people now a days "Ten years before people used to wake up and first remember God, now a days people used to wake up and first check the notifications on Face book..........." isn't this true?
I know I am Face book addict............but I think like me you also like Face book. If you think so..............tell me.

I think face book is a good way of contacting people when you have no other way ofd getting in touch with them. I like the IM chat as you know you can get an imediate response that way, of if you have a web can you can connect and have a visual phone conversation and use free skype software, which is particularly useful if you have relatives or friends abroad. Im quite a private person and don't go on facebook a lot and tend to let others do the tagging and commenting of photos of me on nights out and other occasions. I tend to send personal meassages to persons inboxes rather than posting on walls, unless it is in response to someone else.

Nice friend, I am agree with you, I also send personal messages rather than posting on someone's wall and I have told my friends that if they want to tell something about me or something else, they will sent me a message rather than posting it on my wall.

If I dont have someones phone number looking them up on facebook is easier for locating someone and leaving a message to arrange meet up detaisl. The only thing it is it relies on both parties regularly checking or one person sending phone numbers.

You are right, facebook is a very effective way to reconnect with lost family and friends. I personally don't use facebook much. I connect then provide my personal data to the friend or family and we can continue from there if they want to. There are though many people that seem to be addicted to facebook and like any addiction, too much is not good in my opinion. I connected to a friend from Kindergarten not so long ago. She was a facebook addict. The other day I was chatting with her on facebook just catching up on old times. No flirting or such. She suddenly told me "my husband is here and I don't have dinner ready." A little while later I get a message from the husband. "You too I will find. Stop talking to my wife. You will be in greatest danger." I wondered, how many times did he come home to find his wife on facebook and no dinner ready. lol

Really, amazing sir...................but it is 100% true that face book is very good or I must say best social networking site in my view. I agree with you sir that it is not good that one should be face book addicted because too much addiction of anything is dangerous. But we can't stop anyone just we can advice.........Take care and God bless you.

God Bless you too. Your right about that. it is the best social networking site. I feel very good about facebook because I have been able to connect to my memories through the people I experienced these memories from. But I cannot live in my memories. Many of the people I have connected with have their own families and like me only want to log on to facebook and say hello. For many, like you say, it has become an addiction

Facebook is becoming such a nuisance where I work. Even my co-workers (and me, I admit) have them on our mobile phones. It had gone so bad that my bosses had approached me about it and asked me to limit access to Facebook during work hours :D

Hi Nitu, True, its one of the social networking site which connects almost all people all over the corners of world, from big country or small country, but internet is medium for connecting all in FB.

My friend who went to work abroad suggested me to sign up at Facebook. Since then some other friends have joined. Now I check what is new on the site every day. I have got acquainted with people who like the same music, and it is great to learn the news, share the opinions about the band we like.

I use facebook to check if my boyfriend is flirting with other girls. haha :))
