I have seen that paid to sign up offers are a lot better as they give u $0.10 to $0.30 for just signing up one offer.

While it is true that they pay higher rate, the problem is how much you have to reach before you can cash it out. Be sure to research those sites before you invest money. There are lot of scammers out there.
