I haven't tried eating Aloe Vera yet but it looks edible.Anyway, I want to learn some some recipes requiring Aloe Vera so I can taste it.Well,I have tried to use Aloe Vera for my thinning hair.I just take the leaves, scrape the transparent meat and let it boil. Then add little olive oil and massage it in your scalp while it still warm. Then let it stand for few minutes. It's working for me then but now I can't find Aloe Vera nearby.Maybe people are just disregarding it's use now that almost everything comes in bottle.

yes,,,now all has been so much commercialized. but one thing you can do is that you can grow it at your own place, whether it is in a big pot or directly in the soil in you kitchen garden. it grows well with very low water requirement as well as no fertilizers are required for it to grow. i have done it very well and using it.

Actually I'm boiling it because I'm mixing it up with olive oil to make my hair shinier.I also don't like the smell of raw aloe Vera.

I use it when my scalp gets itchy, plus on the rash I get from the sun in the summertime.

I just did a a search online of the many uses of aloe vera and I was shocked. I did not know of all the uses aloe vera has. It is amazing. You can use it to banish bruises. Help fight athletes foot. Treat acne and pimples. Shrink warts. Among other things.
