the question begs an answer and hopefully i get an answer very soon. right now, i just can't seem to post a response to the threads that we have here. i tried looking at the discussions started here and even those at my interest but really can't seem to string together responses in a good number of discussions. i've started this thread to jump start my brain here in mylot and hopefully it pans out right. for now, i've opened my email and will be looking at the notifications i've received about discussions started by friends and hopefully it can get my creative mylot juices flowing and i can start replying and posting more here at mylot. don't even get me started at being able to hit the minimum payout amount since it is month's end in two days time. i'm a looooooonnnnngggggggg way from reachign payout this month. lol! anyway, hope my plan works out for me. so fellow mylotters, what do you do to get out of your mylot rut? discuss.

Personally, there are many here even who have been here 4 1/2 yrs or more like I have that have had many days like this. You will have Brain Fog from time to time and feel as if you are in a myLot rut. Personally I think the best thing to do when this happens, is go find other Fun creative things to do online, and come back when you are able to post again as well. Sometimes there will not be discussions worth responding back too while other times way too many. I think it is all in the mix of timing for sure.

brain fog?!!! that's a great way to put it krausehome. i do agree with you that sometimes it is better to go out and find other things to do. 'myloting' the whole day can indeed be taxing eventhough it is fun to do. anyway, i'll keep your advice in mind the next time i get brain fog. lol!!! i can't get over that term!!! i'm going to start including that in my vocabulary! brain fog for the win!!!

I used to be very active on Mylot, it keeps my brain active! but after a number of months I really felt stale, I needed a rest from posting on Mylot. But a good rest works wonders, it refreshes the brain and rejuvenates it. pOsting is far harder than you think and thinking of what to write down can take some time. mylot has a diverse community and there are many types of questions on here.

hi ruby. yeah, there are times that you just need to take a quick break from mylot to rejuvenate and get those creative juices flowing. i'm just surprised at all the discussions and activities of the other mylotters. they can start endless discussions and comment back to all those who posted in their threads. it seems they have boundless energy to mylot all day and all of the night. you are right about mylot being a diverse community. i think its diversity helps us a lot so that we encounter different thoughts while mylotting. getting a bit off topic here so going back, yeah, resting from mylot will help and i've done that so helpfully i can be active again here. thanks a lot ruby!

It seems its becoming hard and hard to find good discussions here on mylot. Sometimes even I keep glancing on discussions under various tabs and follow just a few. Not many members are posting good discussions, and two of the discussions which I thought were good , got deleted due to some reason may e someone else's fault and I was disappointed as I thought they were different and good topics. As one was about depressions and other was about life and dreams where as so many for earning and links are still around. At times I think my lot people misjudge few things. I too take a break or find relief in commenting on the blogs here they are good though.

hi mansha. i agree that there are times when it is indeed hard to find good discussions to respond to. if that is the case, what i do is create a discussion of my own. i also revisit old discussions, either those that i started or those that i replied to, to see if i could post again and continue the thread. discussions getting deleted are normal here in mylot especially if these discussions were a violation of the terms of agreement of the site. anyway, here 's to more discussions that we can respond to for more earnings here in mylot. cheers!!!

I know how you feel, I have spent the whole day today trying to peek at mylot to see which topics are nice and which one I can respond with, but alas I can't find a single topic that could make me feel inspired to respond to! Yes, there have been several but unlike the previous days, it seems that I'm out of my game for now. Though, I am no longer worried because I have already reached the payout for this month, but still I wished I could do more instead of just browsing through stuff and responding on comments. Worst is the fact that it seems people these days are no longer interested in really communicating. Most of the topics I started or responded to are commented with periods - meaning no more interest to share more. Anyhow, perhaps tomorrow I could find something that's more interesting or perhaps start one. For now, I'm in a rut as well. I guess there really are days like these. Have a great MyLot experience and I hope you'll reach payout this month!

hi laydee! thanks for participating in the discussion. agree with you about people not responding to communicate... kinda annoying but what can we do? anyway, i guess days like these are expected and indeed part of the mylot cycle. what's important is to keep plugging and hopefully, inspiration hits us like a lighting bolt from the sky and we can go ahead and start posting like there's no tomorrow until we reach the holy grail of payout!!!! hahahahahaha! for a while there, i thought i was going to be all serious...whew! thanks for the kind words and may you reach payout as well this june. cheers!!!

Just stay on the roll. You don't have to be creative when answering posts..just answer them honestly. I can't say that I have ever been in a rut. I have went for periods of time where I didn't start a lot of discussions, but I have always been able to add to the the ones my friends start. I hope that you get out of the "rut" soon. Take care.

hi jen. yeah, you're suggestion to keep responses simple and direct makes a lot of sense. i'll do just that the next time i posts in discussions. sometimes, i tend to overthink things and end up not being able to reply at all which defeats the purpose of coming over here to mylot. as for my 'mylot rut', i can say that i'm over it right now and back to posting in as many discussions as before. thanks again for your simple yet effective advice. cheers!!!

There are really days like this where I think that it is really tough to get going. Of course, it is really not any lack of topics, but rather, its just hard for me to get interest of them. Hopefully these days really don't happen during a crucial moment, when I need just a few more cents here or there, to reach whatever goal I would have(usual, the minimum payout). It is really something that can really cause us a great struggle to get to that point. There are just a times where I'm sure these topics would be great on another day, but not just today. However one thing that I think that many do overlook is that if topics seem bare, perhaps the news section or the blogs on this website can really be something that can be worthy taking a look at and responding too. I think a lot of people overlook those sections but you can make some money(I did an experiment one day just by responding to those sections). It is something to consider, if you want to have a bit of a change of pace, from the usual topics. The same grind day in and day out can be a bit rough and taxing. Sometimes we got to change the pace up.

'change the pace up'... wise words indeed megamatt, wise words indeed. yup, i'll definitely take your advice and check out the news section and blogs in mylot as well. the change will be most welcome and might inspire something different in me and help me post more here in mylot. thanks again!

I know what you mean. Sometimes I find it difficult to find topics to respond to and get frustrated...then I just end up not replying at all. In the end, I just try to start with one topic that I think is interesting and simply respond to it. After that, I tend to find it easier to respond to other discussions.

hi ben. yeah, i understand what you mean. my only gripe about me not finding something interesting to reply to and then end up not replying at all is i'm being reactive to what mylot has to offer. rather than be like that, i try to be proactive and start looking through the mylot discussions and find a discussion that i can respond to. you can say that the reason i started the thread was because i was trying to be proactive to get posting here in mylot. well, so far, i can say that it has worked. thanks for participating. cheers!!!
