civil service exam passing percentage computation..

they say 80% is the passing percentage for the philippine civil service exam..but how do they compute for that?..is it zero-based?..or 65/35, 50/50?..do you know?..thanks in advance.. :)

Hello... I don't have an idea though I already pass the exam. During my college days, I passed the Sub-Professional Exam. I took the Professional exam without any plans of entering the government offices. It is good that I passed it already so when an opportunity came in the government, I was accepted immediately. I am advising all students who are having an OJT here in our office to take the exam whatever their plans because they will never know when opportunity came. It is better to be ready all the time.
