Last sunday, it was my off from work. I only stayed at home in the morning, so i had some bread and milk for breakfast. Then when i open the fridge, i saw some cup cakes and i had two. My husband decided to watch an old movie - top gun - , and before we started the movie, he bought some snacks. After the movie, i was hungry and i had my lunch for more than 1 cup of rice. Then, we decided to go malling. After an hour of walking, we decided to eat again, and i had hotdog sandwich, spaghetti and a large order of pineapple juice. When we get home, i ate two cupcakes again. And finally a cup of icecream before i went to sleep. That was a lot for a day!
How about you guys, when was the last time you think you ate a lot?

I do love sweets every now and then, like Black Forest cake, or Cheese cakes, muffins and all that! but not that often! I like salami in a lots of things not just pizza...sometimes I just slice it very fine and put into some fresh boiled pasta with grated cheese it make for a quick and inexpensive dinner! very satisfying and only take minutes to make specially if you live alone. I usually have fresh pasta in my fridge...other wise you can just use a packet of minute noodles it's works just fine!

there's always a lot of food at home especially when the whole family gathers. but at home, i could pace myself because i compensate it by being ultra busy with the chores that cater to more than 30 people in the house when we are all together.
however, when we eat at a new restaurant, that's a different thing. it makes us try to eat something new or something different or something of our favorite in a different version or style of cooking.
the last time i felt we really feasted on food was during the weekend of my birthday and my mom's last year. we all stayed in the hotel, went to malls to shop and did a lot of eating. we tried several different restaurants that we usually don't go to. i must have eaten 4 different lasagnas, an assortment of pizzas, ribs, country fried chicken, filipino dishes, pastas, ice cream concoctions and 8 assorted cakes for the duration of a weekend. i didn't eat whole portions, but i tasted most of them so i felt that i ate a lot even if it was mostly a spoonful of everything.
i usually just go for 1-2 dishes each meal and some fruit. but that time was really a feast. so much for an entire weekend.

in my family too. everyone loves to eat. perhaps we compensate now that we can afford to indulge on food unlike when we were kids... i think we were malnourished in terms of quality and quantity of food because we couldn't afford much. hahaha not a joke though.
my family knows i love lasagna so every meal together has a different lasagna served... since it was the weekend celebration of my birthday.

wow, the food you mentioned made me hungry, especially the lasagna.
I also tend to eat a lot when the whole family is around, everyone in the family loves to eat :)

The last time I ate a lot when the other day. I spent the whole day on the beach playing in the ocean. Playing in the surf like jumping with waves, diving in waves swimming boogie boarding. Alot of exercise and hard pushing on my part. So naturally I was really hungry afterwards.

Hi Jasmin,
I never eat more than my stomach requires. Many of the people i know eat more than their stomach requirement if they find the food tasty but this is not the case with me.

This morning I had two tuna sandwiches and a cup of oatmeal for breakfast. Around lunch time I had three cups of rice and a fried tilapia with sour sauce. This late afternoon I ate two plates of spaghetti. I think that's the last time I ate a lot. It's gonna be a pain for me to work out and burn calories tomorrow.

Wow you did eat well that day! I have to say that I too have a hearty appetite and I enjoy my food. The whole world is centered around food, weight and obesity and the media is constantly tellting us how unhealthy it is to overindulge. I agree with them too, it is good to have the odd treat, the odd cake, bun or chocolate bar but too many means that we pile on the pounds and end up having to diet. Moderation is the key but practising moderation is far harder than one thinks.

My daughter and I have gone to Red Lobsters twice now. We eat their garlic and cheese biscuits, lobster, crab and shrimp. I hadn't had any for so long I just kept eating it. Enjoying the flavors and the whole experience. I left each time feeling stuffed and so ready for a nap.

With my hectic work schedule, I think the last time I consider myself eating a lot would be months and months ago! If I recall correctly, the last time I ate a lot was when I was on holiday from work and went back to visit my parents living overseas, and this occurred about 5 months ago. They were quite shocked and appalled to see how thin I was (my job is a very stressful and hectic one) that they took me out to all those posh restaurants and eating places to literally "beef and stuff" me up again before my holidays ended and I have to go back to work. I remember there was one day they took me to a all-you-can-eat buffet and they kept adding stuff to my plate! I had a tummy ache so bad after that buffet that I swore to myself never to eat that much in one single day again! Now that I'm back at work, I'm thankfully back to my small meal portions again......

Hi. jasmin_niza. Wow! You have eaten so much on last Sunday! I think the last time that I probably ate a lot was, sometime this month, or last month. I don't hardly eat that much like I used to. Yesterday, I ate some macaroni and cheese, almost a whole plate of it. I also ate, four to five chicken legs yesterday too. I guess I was being such a pig. Dinner was delicious yesterday and I have enjoyed every bite of it too.

Well, I am on a diet at the moment, but a couple of months ago I had the house to myself for the weekend and I ate a lot. I couldn't be bothered cooking, so I just had a pizza which contained ~1000 calories on its own, plus a huge bowl of cereal for my breakfast, and a sandwich, crisps and chocolate, which is far too much for one person to eat in a day, but I think that if it is only once every so often then it doesn't really matter, as your body will cope with it providing you exercise and eat healthily for the rest of the time.

Well for me every sunday I usually eat more than what my stomach(belly) can holds. Let I just say Sunday is big dinner day. Lot of food is cook and when I say alot I really mean alot. So I usually stuff my belly with food and then go lay down feeling pain in my belly. Every Sunday is usually the same thing occurs, I usually just stuff my belly then suffer after because my belly start to hurts because it is too full. But then after my belly cools down then I would just be ammused about it and cant wait until the next Sunday come so I can do the same.
Let i also say before anyone start accusing, I am not fat. I am no where near fat. I am just muscular and I love lifting weights. Because I lift weights though I usually find myself feeling hungry every minute. So then I usually stick to a small schedule of eating every two hours. Because I need to fuel my muscles after working them out. Well that is me still and every body is different. Not everyone can eat alot. And I have found that sometimes you will find slim people eating more than fat people. Well that is that. I used to be slim though before I start lifing weights and no matter how I used to eat alot I couldnt put on no even one more pound. Then I started muscle building and everybody was saying I shouldnt do it because I was too slim. Everybody was saying I should go and put on some weight first before I even think about muscle building. But all I keep on telling them that no matter how much I eat I cant put on any weight, they didnt seem to understand. SO i just ignored everyone advice and just start muscle building. And surprisingly after muscle building I started putting on weight. And all that food I used to eat wasnt just going to waste. It was then being converted to something useful for a change, helping building muscles and now everyone was wondering how I actually started to get bigger. So thank goodness I never followed their advise because if I did I would have still be the same old slim mem all puny and stuff. Well maybe that is why I love to eat so much.
