Getting paid for writing

There are many sites out there that help you in earning. Some are forums and some are sites like content mills. There is a budding site which has been paying writers like me on a monthly basis according to the position we achieve - positions range from 1 to 10 and 1 being the highest paid.

What is wrong in promoting oneself? Today it is a marketing world. Do you want to be a stand-alone person like your avatar here? Well, I don't want to be? And if you have any problems in this, then just shut your mouth up and stop complaining. I, for one, here is for earning money and so I will promote myself. I don't want to lead a life of a saint.
If you feel uncomfortable, just ignore this discussion. I for one have ignored you.

Even I did not want to say exactly in the same tone as what I did. May be I was little frustrated then (when I wrote it). Still my mind was telling me not two.
Yes, buddy, you are entitled to say whatever you want to say. In India there is freedom of speech, I don't know from where you are, but you are free to say what you want.
Secondly, I cannot openly give away the names of the sites like freebies. After all, My lot we have some restrictions here - I donno if you are aware of it or not. Then how can I openly give away the name of the site? PM is the best option and hundreds of people use it.

Unfortunately no. Currently, they pay only for the top 10 writers with the top earner getting $100. As the site grows, they will be paying more than $100 for the top earner and for more than 10 spots.
But getting to the top 10 is so easy as there is not much competition. I get paid every month for the past 7 months now. AND YES ITS COMPLETELY LEGIT.
