Do you have any friends or other people who borrowed money from you? How do you ask them to return it to you? If you have lend them huge amount do you list it down their remaining balance? How do you deal with people who are not into returning your money that they have borrowed from you? My boyfriend told me that I am so expert in asking to return the money that other people have borrowed it from me. Because I told him before that I have some classmates who didn't return my money for a long time but in order for him to return it I just made a phone call to their land line and if in case that my classmate is not available then I am asking a favor to the person I have spoken to return my money. Because the reason is that at least there will be another person at home would know that my classmate have borrowed a money from me. So I did the same thing to others. Then to my boss I really did on purpose to contact and send text messages to the contact details of his parents or anyone from his family. That is the reason he was forced to pay me for the salary.

Its really tough for me to ask for my money once you give your money to a friend. You need to be very polite with the borrower when you ask him to return your own money in a lust that he will return it soon. And this is also a fact if you get your money easily then its OK & when you get you money returner several reminders you take oath not to land money to anyone does't matter how close he is???

I have been polite but then if I am doing that for them, they really tend to abuse it. I just need to force them so that they are going to pay right away.

i think it is very difficult for some people to ask money from his friend. I have also given money to some of my friends and sometimes when i see that they are not showing intention to return money back i have to remind them and then i got one answer - wait. i don't know what is the meaning of this word because i have not said them to wait when they had come to borrow money. One or two of them are very conscious because they always return money before the due date.

For a friend, it depends. For the real meaning of friend, we never count anything. Even money, but we also know things to consider. Let say, if it is really huge amount involved, well of course, we know our responsibility. We never take advantage the friendship we have. How I'm able to get my money back from the borrower? I would just let them know that I have to have this something and need money, just insinuating that I am the one in need, just like the way they are before. If the person valued his/her honor, we could sense it. There are people why they were not able to return back is the situation, they maybe in real need, or really not capable to pay in time. In such cases, I put myself into their situation, but if it seems like they just taking advantage of my being considerate, I usually tell them that I'm giving them timeframe and put it in writing especially when it is really huge money.

Friend if i give money to any one then i won't ask again. If i required money and on that situation i don't have money on that moment then i will ask that person to whom i gave money. But i will make sure that the way i approach him should not harm him or he should not feel bad by listening my words. I will explain my situation and i will ask money very quietly. After that still he says he can't then i can't do anything with that. I will stop asking that money forever, if he comes and give that money then only i will take that money until i won't ask that money in my life time.

ahhh... tough one. i hate this kind of sticky situation. i never really liked badgering people to give back what they borrowed or something. it just makes me stiff. and i could only hope they'll be kind enough to remember... although when a certain person does it over and over again and never really pays me back then i'll have no choice but to draw the line... that's it right? we always have enough. "Have you no shame?" i always like to use that. xD

Money is the root of all evil, or so they say! i think it is better to refrain fron lending money. Borrowing money is not a good way forward, if you end up owing funds to friends and family memebers then they find it hard to ask for it to be repaid. If anyone needs to borrow money then they should go to the bank or the building socaiety and not ask friends and family. In the past I have caved in when friends have asked for a small loan to get them out of a financial crisis but I have been caught, they have not repaid in full and quite frankly it has been embarrasing.

Hire mobsters to bust their knee caps...no seriously, this is why I don't lend money to people for many, many years. Which is really a shame for people who really do need a bit of help here and there, but I got to be fair. There are a lot of people out there, who are willing to put their hand out there, wanting to get a little bit of money here and there, and then soon, before long, they seem to have gotten quite a lot of money that they still have not paid out. That was a problem, I was too nice years back. That problem is something that I vowed to correct. For bonus points, when you nicely ask them when they are going to pay you back, they act like they don't know what you are talking about. That makes me want to smack myself right in the face again and again. It really does frustrate me a lot of the time. Yeah, I think that there is still some people who I'll never see again, because they know they owe me money from years ago. Therefore, loaning money is really just going to lead to a headache and its just better to skip the headache and just don't loan out money.

"Neither a borrower nor a lender be." That says to me, 'Don't give out money expecting it back, and don't take money unless it's freely given.' There's a certain amount of 'got to have'-money I keep on me; what's greater than that is free for anyone to take. If I don't have all the 'got to have'-money I need, I don't have any to give others. I treat money like it's a limited resource. Too bad Congress doesn't share that view.

I don't have any special way to rush the borrowers to return.I just never ask that thing till the one has enough money to return me or till I have forgotten it. In fact I seldom lend money to anyone else including my relatives unless I have enough trust to them. It's awefully boring to have been expecting the lent money!

You just Simply Ask for the Money back as this Person is Your Friend Supposedly. Speak in a Normal Friendly Way and Tone. Wait for a Response and Hopefully it will a Proper Response. You get an Improper Reply. Take Action by Speaking with a Family Member. Get Help or advice from an Adult if You don't know How to Ask for Your Money back. Never Sit back and do Nothing if the Person say No to You. You need to take Control over the Situation.

For me it was not easy to ask to return me the money that was borrowed from me. My acquaintance went abroad, there were some financial difficulties. She was aware she had a debt, but I had to wait for a longer time when she repaid me the money in parts. I was not insistent and did not want to spoil our relationship reminding about the deal often. Of course, one has the rights to demand the money that belongs to the lender.
