Make-up has been the source of extended beauty and protection from the aging times by women for their faces but nowadays cosmetic surgery is lessening the areas that women usually put more foundation on than in the old days.
If you have huge eye bags, before you just grab your foundation that is of the same color as your skin tone and voila it disappears instantaneously. But not for long for this only give a little amount of time and then they wear off. As science have always prevailed over the practical ways of men, plastic surgery erupted that created less opportunity for make-up companies to retain their original power over the market.
For example eye bags can just be removed now so the puffiness will disappear completely. No need for thick foundation to hide it from scrupulous eyes that stare at it before.
Plastic surgery nowadays is your permanent solution and make-up is already a dwindling art yet will forever be there, one mascara and lipstick at a time.

Make up no more, plastic surgery no more. BEauty is at its best when natural. That's what i believe in. IF we know how to take good care of our skin, there's no need for make ups, to cover up any blemishes. How healthy we are is all reflected on the outside. There's no point in looking glamorous, beautiful on the outside, with all the make up, while at the end of the day when everything is removed, we are back to our sickly self?

While some people might be able to cosmetically change their appearance, this is not something that I would ever be able to do myself. The reason for that is that I think that we were granted with our natural beauty for a reason. Therefore, it doesn't matter to me how bad time might be to me, I will still be happy with what I've been given because of the fact that I inherited my appearance from those people that came before me.

I differ on the issue of surgery. Make up is okay as long as it makes one feel good about life in general. As people age, there will be changes in appearences. This needs to be taken for what it is. That is the time body and wisdom finally meet to give this world a truely graceful person. Hiding natural aging by surgery needs renewal every now and then. Ultimately what will be left is a bag of sutures not a fulfilled person. Good diet and healthy attitude is a much better option, I am sure.

hi freymind,
Definitely, plastic surgery is a good alternative for people who don't want to put make up everyday and those who find it troublesome. However, for me, I don't think I would want a plastic surgery because I am afraid of pain and that the implants inside me might burst or be crook. I know i would sound very unknowledgeable by saying this, but implants indeed will burst or will move around inside us should we not take proper care of the places where the plastic surgery is done.
However, i think the most important factor deterring me from doing plastic surgery is because of the pain factor.

I think cosmetic surgery is definately becoming more popular but it is still major surgery and that's the catch that puts people off. So i still think that makeup will be more preferable to a lot of women. There are still large groups of women out there who won't turn to plastic surgery to change their looks so drastically, that are just as happy with how they look and will use makeup to enhance the features they have. I agree it will forever be there.
