What comes to your mind when you go to a wake of deceased friend?

During these times, it always reminds me that life is indeed borrowed and someday, it will be me inside that box... would have I made a difference by that time?

Welcome! I think this is why they say living on borrowed time. When I go to a wake, to be honest all I can think of is what am I doing here. I realize the wake is a celebration of one's life but it is still not my favorite thing in the world. Best Wishes!

hi, everyone has to die on some day.We all knw the truth.But still we forget it for many times.We dont knw when it actually comes,Some day we should leave everyone of our knwn people and this earth.

hello umabharti... thank you for responding on my post, yes, I do agree that everyone has to die someday. This is the inevitable. That is why, I agree with what others would say they would want to make the most of their life on a day to day basis. That I think is what we should keep in mind everyday... that we are but just passers by in this temporary world and what we need to do is to make sure we exist and that we made a difference to somebody else is life.
