Bad laptop battery

I have had this laptop for a couple of years now and its battery life dwindled down from 8 hours now to just 30 minutes.
I know that my laptop has stood the test of time since I had owned it but truly it's weird because the battery's life only lasted for about a couple of months so I was wondering if there was a way to put it back to its usual powerful self than just buying a new one.
Because nowadays everything is expensive and I would really like to save for the rainy days so guys do you have any tips?

Jokes apart, If you ask me there is not much to your problem. Every laptop has certain period of battery life. Once it reaches the mark, it start to perform low. You can do nothing about it.
I can understand you had made a strong bond with your old laptop but nothing in the world is immortal. You should always remember that.

I don't think so. Once a battery's life has past its useful period, there's nothing u can do to revert its power back to the old days. Laptop batterys are not your everyday batteries u find out there. U can't recharge it for too many times because it's being used heavily, to support the operations of laptop. Each laptop battery only has got 1000 charges to it. Once it's past that, it's time to buy a new one.

My laptop's battery also can't last for a long time. Perhaps it just lasts about five minutes and then my laptop will be power off. So I have to plug it all the time so that my laptop can keep working. I am not going to buy a new laptop or battery because as long as it can still work, it won't bother me so much.

I was able to have a eavesdrop on the table next to mine and they are talking about laptop. Which is his friend is not using a battery physically. He made some alternative with the use of copper wire and enough amount of coins. I forgot what patterns did he used to make it worked.

I guess you really have to buy a new one..mine, just lasted for about 5 to 15 minutes..
