I have friend who has this bad breathe and it affects his self esteem. People would normally avoid him and sometimes I speak to him at distance and I feel bad about it because he is my best friend. He is aware of his problem and tried all the ways to keep freshen up and it does not work. He tried to brush his teeth with strongest tooth paste three or four times a day, use mouth rinser but it did not go off. He went to dental clinic and they only advised him to do just what he already did. I am posting this so mylotters can help with some ways so that I can help my firend. Do you think that it could be a sign of a bigger health problem? Please help.

I am told, if one has digestion problem and gas in belly, this problem of bad breathe comes, no paste, no liquid can help, i have a friend, he smells so bad when he 'talks', people avoid him.. Better to consult a reputed dendist and medicine specialist, cloves in mouth does help too. Thanks for sharing God bless you, have a nice day ahead. Professor ‘@Bhuwan@’. .

Thank you so much professor, this is the answer to the problem of my friend. I think, my friend must see specialist to slove this problem. My friend is like this, he tried evry paste, mouth wash, and everything there is, it did not help at all. He smells even straight after mouth wash etc. You too have a top day.

Just be caution when you have a bad breath because this might be a symptom to your health. However, it is wise to seek the advise from a qualified doctor before we judge something about ourselves. From the articles I read about bad breathing, the bad breathing might be caused by our throat or some other internal part of our body. For me, I don't think a dentist can advise us precisely to our bad breath. Try to understand more from the relevant articles and consult your normal qualified doctor.

My friend is very healthy but he has this for a long time. He sought some help but those advice did not work for him.

I guess the daily living habit and the foods your friend consumed might cause the bad breath too. Try to read more articles about this bad breath and hopefully your friend's problem can be resolved.

He had to go to a good dentist. That dental clinic he went to should have chequed more. There could be a problem of gums or even a problem that is not in his teeth so he could also go to a doctor to check his nose and throat. Have a lovely day, jak!

Yea, I think from the way he relate it to me was that he needed to see a doctor. I think there was a bigger problem than just bad breathe. It must be a gastoric problem.

It Can also be tonsils too. But a doctor will know a lot more and he should perform some tests too.

Yes this could be sign of serious desease, and in case it isnt sign of illness, it is better to solve problem :) Bad breath is caused by regular smoking and alkohol consumption - so better have limits for those things. Such illnesses as chronic tonsillitis, tonsilar cysts, bad teeth, peridontitis, pulmonary problems etc. So better check with MD ;)

Thanks for this answer, he is not a smoker or drinker and he brushes his teeth every day four times, has no tooth decay or refill what so ever, but a very bad breathe. It must be a sickness as you mentioned.
