can't figure out of what i have seen.. thinking that this is ain't no right any more have an favorable attention between human and animal... because as you can see people giving so much mo attention to an animal rather than a million person dying in hunger, etc... who would protect animal when no people surround them? and what would the human eat if all/some of the animals extinct?. can we just make it fare.. i hope you get what i mean it..

I get what you're trying to say. But I think you are confused of our civil responsibility and environmental responsibility as humans. When you see people giving more love to animals rather than solve the problem of human hunger and poverty you think they give more priority to animals. That's not the way you should look at the situation.

The cycle of life. Everything depends on everything. It works like a chain, obviously. The humans are the higher beings though because we have the ability to create and destroy at will.

I find it very arrogant of the human race to place themselves above other forms of life on earth. We're all in it together and all life has a purpose.

Humans are animals. The problem is that people don't like admitting that. We keep trying to separate ourselves from nature and that is why we are always causing harm to our planet. If we realized that we are a part of nature, then we would realize that the only way either of us can go on is if we work with nature.
I think that a lot of people are neglected, but I don't believe that people care about animals more. They get neglected too.

Well that is really a tricky question to say the very least. I think that when you think about it, both are equally important. Therefore, there should be some kind of balance to try and protect both of them. Struggling to find that balance, that can really be a tricky issue and one that many are going to struggle with. Therefore, they tend to decide that humans are more important and let's face it, we would tend to be biased. However, consider this? If any animal out there was in a similar position of power and was able to throw humans under the bus, so their species could thrive and survive, would they?
So yeah it is a very tricky subject. I think that people can make cases for both until their throats are dry. However, there will come a day where there might be something more advanced than humanity. Therefore, we're going to be the one's that are going to be thrown under the bus. Just stop and think about that potential situation for a few seconds. It might seem rather far fetched, but there are times where we got to consider what might happen if the shoes are on the other foot. Scoff at it right now but it could happen.

both are important..as they, co-exist. but we should not forget that they have different functions to perform in the society as a whole and they also live according to these roles.
for instance, animals are for human consumption because we need nourishment to grow. and if we are not cautious we might as well be a great meal to the animals. even though they are for consumption, yet they do not run out. why? because they reproduce very fast. compared to human beings, where we only produce one offspring per couple at once. while animals produce offspring in a number we can hardly ponder.
next point to consider: animals have a shorter lifespan because before they even mature we already had consumed them, or other prey had. human beings are not cannibals, that they eat their alikes.
there are so many things to consider. but above all this, here is what we need to remember always, we live in a symbiotic relationship - one cannot live with out the other..

The answer is so simple. The important is human...because animal is only a part that human will be a kind of foods that God, give it to human.
People give more attention to animals. Because they make those animals as pet which is not? Because if we realized things from the beginning they are not given unto us as pets but given unto as foods...

Both are important to me because one is dependent on the other.

hi mr brown both are important i remember we used to study food chain in biology when were in school. Food chain means like a chain: grass/plants---eaten by deer-----deer eaten by lion. What happens when deer extinct from the world the answer is if deer disappears from the chain then there will be more grass on the earth & there will be no food available for lion. therefore every has its own role does not matter if it is animal or human its balance of ecology!!!

both animals and humanbeings count so much.i think there is no point in arguing about which one is more important.once someone or some animal exists,he\she\it should be given equal attention.yet we have to admit that there're so many people homeless and so many animals starving.however we are making effort to help them.we shouldn't stop feeding animals just as a result of considering there's also someone starving, neither should we stop helping other people just as a result of poor animals.we should do both, and the fact is that we can do both if we try to.after all,all beings are born equal, and they should be treated equal too.
