A Mobile Phone,Cell Phone and Hand Phone is an electronic device used to make mobile telephone calls across a wide geographic area, served by many public cells,allowing to be the user by mobile. By contrast, a cordless telephone is used only within the range of a single, private base station within a home or an office.
In addition of telephony, modem mobiles phones also support a wide variety of other services such as Text messaging,MMS,E-mail,Internet acess, short range wireless communicatoin(infrared bluetooth).

Yes indeed, cell phones have bcome pretty much a necessity these days. And, the service one gets are marvelous too, communications over a wide area. This is one of the most amazing technologies developed in the world. I carry a cell phone whenever I travel out-of-town.
