The Domestic Dog

The domestic dogs(Canis lupus familiaries and Canis lupus dingo)is a domesticated form the gray wolf,a member of Canidae family of the order Carnivora.The term is used for both Feral and Pet varieties.The Dog may have been the first animal to be Domesticated, and has been the most widely kept working,hunting and companion animal in the human history. The Word "Dog" may also mean the male of a canine species.

Well, that's an interesting little tid-bit of information. I love dogs, have 8 of them, 5 of which live in the house with us. The other 3 we still have to get spayed and neutered so that they can also come in the house.
I love them all dearly, but I don't plan on getting anymore dogs until some of these have passed away. It's just very difficult to spend quality time with each of them.
