have anyone gone to mt.everst...?

I have never been to the summit but one day i'll try to climb and conquer the summit. By the way, do you have any idea if any female had successfully climbed the summit with no male companion? Because our country (Philippines) will be sending two female mountain climbers to conquer the summmit and if successful, they will be considered as the first women to climb the summit. How about that? Any comments?
