have you guys ever noticed the head of a new born, a soft portion in the skull covered by skin which move like though it is respiring, what is it? how long will it take for baby to get a complete skull?

Of course all newborn have the same portion in their cranial since the bones is not yet closed. when a baby reach certain months it would completely close the skull bones. it is a natural process so their is nothing to worry. so need extra care when handling a baby and be sure all things is sanitize even the hands of the nanny or the mother to avoid infection.

I believe that part of the head of a newborn is called fontanelle. It is a soft spot that is found on a baby's head that allows the baby's skull to flex, allowing it to pass through the birth canal during delivery. I've had 2 babies and based on my experience, it starts closing a few months after birth but a baby's fontanelle closes completely before she turns 2 years old. This is also what our pediatrician told us before.
