Hello Lotters,
I remember hearing this in our local news and the World Health Organization has denied it and it requires further more study on the cell phone users regarding such delicate case. though I know, it has some radiation of some sort but it can't just turn against you're BRAIN
But now World Health Organization has it's findings and warn people that too much use or exposure to the use of Cell Phones would have a high risk of having a BRAIN cancer.
The study was presented by scientist all over the world with studies include 10,000 at least mobile phone users.
Too bad though, i haven't been using my mobile phone but recharge when ever it's gone low bat.
well, for a short caution don't over use it. Have a nice day

LetranKnight25,
Well, as you've nailed it at the end of your post where it is all about moderation.
I believe there had been studies after studies about cancer being caused by the use of cellphones but there were an equal amount of refuting studies as well. I believe there will be some form of radiation risks when we use these equipments at great lengths non stop and I just cannot see myself having the phone close to my ears for the entire day and/or continuously for more than 8 hours a day literally talking.
I do not think I am that chronic enough.

Yep. That is what we heard on the news again too. I have a cell phone but hardly ever use it. I use it to send a text message ever so often and that is about it.

I have just heard it from international news and I guess they're serious this time. However, with us using cellphones for several years now, I doubt we could still avoid the cancer if we stop now. Further, how do you avoid using the cellphone anyway?
Well, I don't really use it on longer periods of time now, perhaps that's something good. However, is till don't think there's really something we can do about it.

I'm not surprised at the findings and have thought for years that the excessive use of those phones could be harmful. Nearly all things are harmless in moderation but people tend to go overboard. Here in the U.S. if you would follow the average person through their day, you would find them on their cell phones while they fix breakfast, get the kids ready for school, driving to work, during work, driving home--well, you get the idea, Americans feel that they have to be connected 24/7/365 to the whole world! And nothing can wait till after work or after anything else--they can't even enjoy watching their kids play in the park without talking on those damned phones.
If they do cause cancer, you'll see a LOT of it here very shortly! I only use mine for emergencies and have used it maybe 6 times in 4 years.

I think these studies are put out mostly just to warn people not to use these products too much because to much of anything can be bad for you
I see so many people talking on there cellphones they seem to have the phone permanently attached to there ear and I can understand how that might be harmful electronic devices emit harmful rays, and having them against our ears all the time can't be good. so I believe the studies a little, but I don't think we should panic and throw our phones away, I think we should just lesson the amount of time we use them
As for my phone its really lame so I rarely use it, so I don't think I have much to worry about.

The World Health Organisation are always telling us things that we already know. They are a bit s l o w!
I have a radiation reducing headset for my phone which lowers the EMF's to a safe level. I also avoid using laptops for this same reason as they emit large amounts of EMF's. Having a lap top on your lap is probably one of the most stupid things we can do when it comes to using technology. I recommend using laptops on a table with a USB keyboard and mouse so that the radiation is away from the body.
These studies were only done on adults apparently, so what about all those teenagers who constantly have these devices stuck to their growing bodies? I have to worry about their future!

I heard that over the news. Some scientists truly find it to be harmful to human brain, and it might also cause cancer. So, do not sleep with your cell phone, or too much closed with it. You know, those radiation just go through your brain, and your body, can you imagine it? It sounds too scary actually.
