Remembering and Thanking God

Sometimes we would rather forget the past and not deal with memories that are painful. Nevertheless, recollections of special events awaken our emotions, encourage us and make us joyful, giving us reasons to move on. Indeed, the past is a kaleidoscope of failures, victories, reunions, separations, birthdays, deaths, expectations met, and broken vows. But, while memories usually fade into our subconscious as the years pass, there is always a time to remember. For God's true servants, although there are disconcerting remembrances of the year that is about to end as they live in a troubled world, they have more reasons to rejoice - and to thank God.

I am not Christian but I believe in my higher beings and I think is important to thank not only god but those around us. I am very thankful for having the most wonderful mother in the world and I always make sure that she knows that. When we have holidays we respect and owner our higher beings.

There are times as we see our past, we can not avoid to question why and what happened today as the link of the past. Be it happy, sad, fulfilled, satisfied; our today had been given its purpose since from the start, find the minute detail of your life's function that GOD is trying to show you and that you need to thank HIM for that reason. As for me, I need to thank HIM because of being a mother after a long journey to this world. To bring up my kids to be HIS new servants.
