Do you have noisy Neighbours?!?!?!

It's really a disaster to have noisy neighbors. Just like you, I am renting a unit that is separated from other units. The distance is quite near to the next unit but what I love is that it has separate backyard and gate. Last month, new tenants occupied the third unit and I hate the noise they create. I wonder if they are fighting with each other since I always hear their loud and big voices. There are three of them, all guys and they are Indians. I'm not against Indians but I wonder if Indians really talk too loud that sometimes you might be mistaken and think that they are arguing. Just being clear, I am not against Indians, so don't get me wrong.

Well,i don't actually have noisy neighbours,but the problem is,my house is located very near to a railway station.So,you know,very disturbing environment.I am thinking to change though.Bye,..

The apartment next to my house is empty right now, but from time to time people rent this apartment for few months and leave it. With different people we had different experiences . Some were too noisy . Some kept fighting whole day. Some knocked your door to borrow sugar, milk or even eggs..... But my worst experience was with our neighbours who had dog that barked whole day and night without any reason. His barking was so sharp that we could not concentrate on anything and every day ended up in headaches as we could not even sleep. When we complained to them, the lady who was owner of the dog said, "what can we do, dog is just an animal and it is dogs nature to bark." Then there was another neighbor who had new born baby, and the baby would not sleep due to barking of this dog. So this new father lost his patience one day and he cut off the electric connection of dog family.... and also had big fight with them. Two days after the fight, she left the apartment....and I made sweet dish at home to celebrate...

Hi lou_is. Noisy neighbors can be really annoying. I'm also living in an apartment complex and months ago, I have neighbors who are noisy even on the wee hours of the morning. Their TV is in full volume, they often shout at each other. I think there are more than 2 of them living in that unit. It was really annoying especially when I go home early in the morning expecting some peace after long hours in the office, only to be pissed because of them . I always forget to report them to the building management but I remember receiving a reminder from the management to be considerate of our neighbors and avoid making too much noise. I'm not sure if they were kicked out or their contract ended and wasn't renewed anymore or they just left. But right now, a different group is staying in that place and they're way more quit. Hope your neighbors realize that they'r not the only ones in that place and maybe some of you would have the courage to tell them to tone down.

No I dont have noisy neighbors, actually my house is not very much near to my neighbors house, so even if they make small noises it will not be heard by us.

Yeah,i have,not always noise but scary,Because the couple always fright each other at nighter several times once a month. we always waked by the wife's cry.Because maybe her husband hit her very hard.It is very terrible.

that is crazy!! yup!! I experienced having neighbors like that when they have their conversation in the family as if they were fighting. Their voice could even be heard in the other end of the street. When they laugh, as if they are the only people in the community. They have no respect with the privacy of others. It is pretty much annoying even in the middle of the night they do that. There was one time that I throw stones at their roof hahaha to warn them that they are very disturbing.

Yes, my upstairs neighbors are a nuisance. When they walk, it is like they are stomping and it's really annoying, epecially if I am trying to watch something on tv or read a book. Luckily I am not home all the time because it seems as though they are always there when I am there. It might be unintentional, but it is a huge inconvenience to me. I also have a neighbor with a child and when they are coming down the hall, she is always yelling things at him like "No! Stop that! Be quiet!" So annoying!

Normally in Bangalore talk at a low voice. In fact I use to enjoy taking classes in Bangalore engineering colleges --1) students are disciplined -- they will not talk and even if they talk they will talk in a way the class will not be affected. 2) if they do not like the class they will go away - no problem for both the parties 3) good food at cheaper rates on the Kamat restaurants 4) Good weather without necessitating Air conditioner. I am surprised at ur remark. May be they have come from my state- tamil nadu. check up. I also talk loudly. have a good day.

of course i had them, but long time ago, so i know what you are living right now, those guys have no respect to other people living near to them, i was so happy when i decide to move form that appartment to another far from them, really i was jumping in one leg when finally move away, i hope you can do it also, but wait you dnt really have to go, i think what you can do is to report them to police several times so the landlord can do help you live peacefully, i hope you can do it.

I have a few noisy neighbours. Actually are being noisy as I type this haha. They like to listen to music loud and party and have some drinks. I don't mind though it doesn't happen everyday and i guess im just used to it. We do the same at our house once in a while and no one complains.

Oh yes! And i hate it specially when its time to sleep like around 10pm to 12mn.. they always do that..

Yes, I have noisy neighbors. It's really irritating, sometimes it really gets into your nerves. You also cannot help it listening to their conversation. In our area, if the noise is really very disturbing we can report it to the village authorities, without giving your personal identification, so as not to create problem with that noisy neighbor. They will come and will advise them to tone down their noise. That really helped a lot, because they are aware that some neighbors might report them again.
