I'm interested in getting a digital camera. Do you have a digital camera that you really like that you would recommend or the opposite? Please tell me about them. Or if you know about some that are really good. Thanks!

There are a lot of camera out there. While most people deceive by megapixel value, I would say don't fall for it. I have seen a camera with 12MP but the picture are nowhere better than the 10MP or even 5MP.
The things to consider when buying are most of the time the feature and picture quality. Before you buy, try to take some picture and see how it is look like. Most of the camera stores allow you to do this. If you satisfied with the picture quality, then go for it.
As for my experince, Canon always produce better quality picture while Sony have a lot of feature that others model don't have.
I own a Sony Cybershot T-99D Gold Edition. So far I pretty satisfied with it.

I adore my Canon Powershot. It is a wonderful camera that never gives me trouble, takes excellent pictures (like the one below) and I would never have another camera. I bought a Nikon underwater camera...good underwater pics but everything else is lacking. I have had 3 Sony Cybershots. Worst cameras. They work great for awhile, and then things go wrong with them that are really expensive to fix. My friend didn't listen to me and got one...different model, same problem.
