Have Any of Your MySpace/Facebook Friends Become Famous After You Met Them?

It seems Facebook is all the rage these days and people are writing off MySpace as a dead social site. Yet, I like Myspace because of the artists and people trying to sell their talents. Since I'm on myLot and Facebook a lot, I've been lax in visiting MySpace (there's a Jewish friend from Israel whose site I visit every now and then.) So today I'm watching a movie on Justin.tv when I hear a song that sounds like its sung by one of my MySpace friends (she sang the song on her site.) I missed the credits, so I went to MySpace and clicked her page. It seems she has made good over the few years since I last went to her site. When I last spotted her, she was singing in places around London. Now she has an album out, she has been on Saturday Night Live, she had a number one hit in England (No. 11 in the U.S.), and according to Wiki, she cowrote a song for Miley Cyrus that went to number two on the charts. Jessie J is doing good for herself. So my question to you is, have you "friended" a MySpace or Facebook person who has later went on to bigger and better things than when you first met them?

omg, i just done a discussion about how much i love her a couple days ago! turn on your sound, go to my profile, look down at my playlist at bottom and you can maybe hear her. no i never knew any before they were famous, but have found a few thats been famous long time ago on tv and made them a friend. one is Kelli maroney from Ryans hope...a soap from the 7o's.

thank you finally someone that appreciates my over wide variety of music. i just love so many different kinds. you can make your own also you know. for free. at playlist .com. and put it on here or other sites. tho, myspace will not let it stay any more. lots of fun. playlist

Hiya RR,
None of my Friends are really famous no (grin). One nearly became a famous Footballer but he did not want to go to Italy so that was the end of the line for him but he was a brilliant football player at that.
One of my Husbands Nephews is a Singer sort of Rap Singer I would call him not really sure but he sings okay.
But only the Footballer that nearly was is on Facebook and not on myspace.
Myspace is terribly slow to load here I don´t know about anywhere else but its as bad as that Yuwie site that I really liked but full of "nasties" at least on this side of the World it was.
My Husbands Cousin one of them has been in the Theatre and famous in Madrid too but again he has neither been on Facebook or myspace.
This Cousin of his also knew a lot of famous People but again pretty sure they are not on Facebook or myspace either.
Glad for your Friend though. Its really nice when someone you know does become famous though.xxx
But hey I am quite happy with my Facebook Friends as they are.xxx
